Horrifying experience Baymont got decent ratings (7+) on Booking.com, which we use a LOT, so we booked this place as a halfway point to our road trip destination. We pull up, there are maybe 11 cars. A bad sign, but it was a Thursday night, and this is off the beaten path. Got to the lobby at 10pm and there were two other sets of people waiting in line, but no attendant. Mediocre The front desk staff does not seem to care, they are just there for a check and it shows. The hallways smell like pot and fried food. The room smelled like mildew and there was a small stain on the rug which grossed me out. Beds are not very comfortable but you get what you pay for. The price was good and the cleaning lady was nice. They made the bed when we went out for the day.

Fair I had a terrible first night's stay, as there was a group of young people across the hall from me that were shouting in the hallway, knocking on the door, screaming in my face when I asked them to quiet down and go back to their room, partying until 4 am in the morning. No regard for other guests. I finally called the front desk and the associate was very understanding. he gave them a warning, and escorted me to another floor, which was great.
