I wasn’t expecting a four star experience but sheesh, what a dump Paper thin walls, listened to other TVs and conversations in other rooms literally all night long. Woken by sporadic loud hum from refrigerator. Took forever to check in because staff yabbered incessantly with 2 guests in front of me
Average, maybe better choices No "eye appeal". Not in "great area" (though we needed to be close to Briarcliff Manor and this was closest available)
Nice but wouldn’t stay again I tried contacting the property via email about the room after check out and haven’t heard back. Had a bad reaction to the sheets or the bed or something and no one has returned my correspondence. I liked how nice and updated it looked.
Good for a couple for a one day trip
Glad to get out of there, got 2 hours of sleep. The "guests" in the room next door who swore and argued loudly between 2:45am and 5:30am. It took 4 calls to the front desk (with my cell phone, because the room phone didn't work) and a useless visit by the police (in which they erroneously reported the male was removed at 3:15) before they were gone from the property. Unprofessional, the worst hospitality I’ve ever had. We drove 17 hours, 1,200 miles for my fathers funeral. I called the day before our scheduled check in to see about an early check in. The first person I spoke to was a young women, she said there’s no promise of us getting a room the day before but as long as I called early in the morning the day of, if there was a room available we could take it. Bad The bait and switch rates and the unprofessional behavior of staff in lobby. Booking.com charges $109 to my debit card. The property wouldn't honor the rate and charged my credit card $169. It was a new clerk and all other staff were co-horting with some men in the lobby area 25' from front desk. Very unprofessional. The new person was left to fend for himself while the other selfish staff entertained themselves with people who behaved and talked like gansters.
The place is ok but there are better choices. The heating/cooling unit was very loud. Went on and off all night which affected my sleep. Also the shades in the room did let in plenty of light at night from the parking lot security lights.
