This place is unethical, unprofessional. I had the best doc and she left. The new one, utterly terrible. She started me on a new med, then missed THREE virtual appts. I have the screenshots saying your provider has not logged in. Only after the third one did her receptionist call me. No follow up on the others! What? I couldve been dead, whatever. While my psychiatrist is a lovely woman who has helped me find the medications I need, I would never recommend the Lifestance Health company to anyone, let alone mentally vulnerable individuals. I have been a patient for a year now, and in that time I have switched insurance from private to ******** (which was confirmed to be in-network). The billing department is a disaster. I have received multiple bills for out of network charges when they are in network with my insurance. When disputing the claims because they were coded incorrectly I was met with resistance and incredibly slow response times. I also got an out of network **** for services performed over a year past the date of the appointment. Spent a good amount of time trying to find the right person with appropriate training and specialization for my situation, and happened to find a Dr that worked with Lifestance. The counselor cancelled or was late to numerous scheduled appointments. Also, after a year they claimed I hadn't paid for my initial appointment and rather than sending me an invoice they called and then sent it directly to a debt collector.

I have decided to move my treatment elsewhere. My provider constantly canceled and rescheduled my appointments, and I found it impossible to keep up with them. After allegedly missing an appointment, they had the nerve to charge me $100 after I have been nothing but flexible with them. I had been with Lifestance from early 2020 to late 2021. In that time, I have had three psychiatrists; the first two ended up leaving the practice a few months after I started seeing them. Needless to say, I did not have a coherent treatment plan. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY- ALREADY INVOLVED IN CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. My elderly mother had a major issue with this company that caused her physical and emotional distress. I should have noticed when all the doctors started to leave the practice that there was a real problem with LifeStance taking over my former practice. One appointment I tried to switch to Telehealth and was denied the ability to do so (especially with my personal situation LifeStance should have been understanding of why I couldn't come into the office - but they really don't care about patients well-being) so when I tried to cancel they charged me a missed appointment fee because it wasn't 48-hours notice (it was 24).
