They charge 'cancellation fees' to their customers when their own therapists/psychiatrists fail to show up for appointments or when their own conferencing software fails, and their billing department outright refuses to assist in any meaningful way.This supposed 'mental health services' company does business as though their goal is to be ACTIVELY HARMFUL to the mental health and well-being of their customers.

My therapist was amazing and very helpful. Lifestance or PsyCare, as it was known to me at the time, is probably a great program overall but there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I recieved mutliple texts to pay a **** that I never saw in person. I tried calling multiple times to pay this **** but no one EVER called me back. I was able to pay my first copay over the phone with a live person but after that, I was never able to get a hold of anyone to pay any copays after that. I was scheduled for an initial appointment with a psychologist for mental health at the referral of my PCP. However, from the very beginning I found the provider to be very cold and scripted in asking a set number of questions about myself and then told it was just an intake appointment for documentation. The appointment then only lasted 15 minutes (when supposed to be 45) and then she asked to schedule the next appointment. I have called customer service three times over a two day period. After being on hold for an extensive time I opted for someone to call me back. I have not received a call back yet. Very frustrating. I have a ******** question.

I had my intake rescheduled THREE times in a row - the first two due to scheduling errors on their end and the third rescheduled two hours beforehand because the doctor suddenly called out sick. Ive had to wait three months to get my very first appointment, and I kept thinking it would happen soon so I wasnt even able to find another, more reliable provider. Over those months my mental health has been very poor and Ive been unable to get any care or treatment because of this practice. Utterly irresponsible.

THEY SUCK! I have been waiting for 5 months to get a refund I am sure for an overpayment I made. Even though I worked with local practice and have been working with the corporate office, they will not respond to me at all. They are absolutely horrible! They know that I am owed money, but somehow refuse to give it to me. It is extremely difficult to contact the billing department. I've tried for days one time. The first provided they got for my granddaughter cancelled twice without telling her until we got to the office. The second ** was only for medication and had to refer to another one. My ** is charging twice for each appointment. First she charges for the appointment and then if medication is talked about she charges for a separate medicine visit for the same time. LifeStance Health is extremely disorganized. Good luck trying to talk with a live person. If you leave a message with your phone number for a call back you are wasting your time. My provider is very competent but works for the wrong company. The patient portal is not helpful either as there is no way to leave a message. If I ever get in touch with my provider, I may change this review.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company is deceptive about prices, they charge more than private offices, I saw 3 providers all of which were terrible and one who couldnt even get my name right, they have poor customer service, and their billing is all over the place. They're more detrimental for patients seeking counseling than helpful.
