This is a really cool concept! I am someone who is super low maintenance when it comes to my hair and usually I just do box-dye at home - but when the opportunity arose to come to Madison Reed I was eager to see what it was all about. Ashley was fantastic. I had the roots only treatment. My color is auburn so it can be tricky to get the right tone, and Ashley hit it spot on - not to bright, not too dark. No hot roots, and looks totally natural. 100% recommend.

This was my first time here and Mayette is the woman who did my hair. I love it! I came in with a terrible "hombre" and she was able to fix my hair wonderfully. It looks healthy and natural and exactly what i wanted. I couldn't be happier! Then on top of that it was only $40 which was just AMAZING! Especially in Manhattan. I would highly recommend getting your hair done by Mayette. She was very helpful and very friendly!
Excellent experience. Kathy my stylist was great ! My usual MR salon is in San Francisco, I wanted to try it out in the east coast while vacation, they delivered! Kathy, my blow out was wonderful and probably the best I have ever had.
Color stylist Cynthia saved me!!! Madison Reed saved me! So I am a natural brunette with almost black hair and have been going blonde for several years now, ever since I started going grey. I had been feeling really discouraged about my hair color before coming here (hair starting to turn gray, so I tried to dye at home with MR Verona Brown, did nothing with it for a couple months and it then faded to a brassy tone that wasn't flattering.) at the color bar, Alexa took her time to explain color options to me for the roots and the gloss, and even offered to mix two shades. I really wanted to like this place because it is so reasonable and convenient. However, both times I went to get my roots touched up I noticed several missed spots the next day (two different people helped me). Both times have had to had my color fixed. Unfortunately I think these folks just aren't thorough enough.
First let me say that Stephanie my colorist and Ashley my stylist were Amazing! Loved them both for their professionalism and friendliness. Stephanie made selecting my new color a breeze. Her application was outstanding and my final look was more than I could have hope for.. Ashley was sweet and I Loved her attitude and attention...Her blow out skills are Fantastic...
