Really liked this color bar the first time I went there a few months back however had quite a disappointing experience when I went back with my mom. First of all I like that they use ammonia free natural colors which doesn't harm the hair and that's what brought me back here, however my hair dresser was quite a poker face, unfriendly and intimidating kind of person. My colorist Deanna (sp?) was a lifesaver today! I used the Cannella gloss at home - but turns out I have more grays than I thought. So the ends looked great but the overall package was a mess. Came in today (booking is SUPER easy online!) and got my first permanent dye root job - which I was terrified to do. I use madison reed root touch up hair color and like the fact that it does not contain as many harsh chemicals as the other dyes. I tried Madison Reed for the first time last night and was very pleased. The experience was entirely pleasant and I love that there is now an affordable "Drybar" type option for getting your roots touched up versus having to go to a regular salon which can feel like a production. Geraldine did a great job selecting a color based on what I requested and she also did a nice blowout (costs extra). I'll definitely be back.

I had a wonderful experience visiting this location. Was very interested in trying their product. I have only colored my hair in the salon a few times and have switched to a natural brand that Whole Foods carries. I like the fact that its not as toxic as the store bought hair dyes. I tried a few of the shades that were way to dark. Well, the last color I chose was so much better, and not so dark!!! Love the color I finally found. I have highlights in my hair, so when I added the color over them, the color was perfect!!!! Yay, I finally found a good hair color match for me!
I'm sold! Perfectly matched color and gloss that covered gray and didn't flatten or dull my hair or cover my highlights. Completely bargain priced and they give you the formula to do it at home. No secrets, no tricks and no one robbing you blind. Let's face it - gray needs constant color no matter where you go so why feel ripped off? Will defiantly make this my go to Place from now on. A friends recommendation is how I wound up at Madison Reed. Upon walking in the door, I was pleasantly surprised at how much the staff seemed to like their jobs. Gorgeous space with top notch customer service. I had the gloss and blow out and would definitely recommend it! I had to change my appointment at the last minute and the receptionist (Maddy) was extremely accommodating and made me feel welcome. I was offered a drink as soon as I sat down.
