It was a pleasure to get my roots done at Madison Reed. I'll be back and back again. I'm in my 10th year of going gray. I started out needing to go every eight weeks and now up to every four. I LOVE this place! I've been a fan of Madison Reed for a while now and was very excited to see that they were opening a color bar in NYC. I decided to try them out for a gloss and blowout when they ran a Gilt deal, and I wasn't disappointed! The salon itself is very sleek and modern. Everyone there was very nice and helpful. I love going to Madison Reed. I make my appointment based on when Shane, the manager is working because he makes my visit so fun. I'll forgive him for telling me the story about the time he pretended to be a member of OTown to get into a club. Tony did my roots this last visit and we clicked so quickly. I love Madison Reed for the talent, the time and money it saves me, and the tons of laughs I always have with Shane. Highly recommend to all!
I have been coloring my hair for decades! During one of those decades I dated a salon owner. I learned a bit about color and application and tad bit knowledgeable about color. After spending the usual 190$ every 3.5 weeks I caved in and ordered Madison Reed that kept popping up on my Facebook. I simply adore this product. I rarely color my hair but recently paid a trip to Madison Reed. My colorist, Krista, applied a gloss which made my hair super shiny with just a slight color boost. Super natural - I loved the results especially considering how affordable the whole experience was. Beautiful salon, as well. Can't recommend enough!

Affordable, great color, and my hair was so soft at the end... so soft I brought their shampoo and conditioner. $45 for a root touch up is excellent (warning to ladies with more volume like myself-- it is $15 more for an extra tube), but still very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend to my friends!

Needed to have my roots colored and found Madison Reed. As a (very light) bleached blonde, I have had some damage to my hair and wanted to lighten my roots with hair color and not bleach. Knowing my roots, naturally very dark brown were going to be lifted by hair-color, and without bleach, made me happy. My wonderful colorist, Lashawn, was meticulous with my roots. So I took a chance and made an appointment online. Shane the manager was fantastic. Excellent customer service. Lashone was super knowledgeable and so sweet. I would definitely go back when in NYC.

I've been using Madison Reed Color Service at home for almost 2 years. I recently starting working in the Flatiron District in NYC and excitedly found the MD Color Bar while checking out the surrounding neighborhood on my lunch break.
