I cancelled a subscription and product sent anyway. I requested a return mailing label and returned the product and a refund was never issued. I have USPS tracking number to show product was returned. I lost $70. Impossible to talk to a real person and artificial intelligence unable to help.

I'm not sure why Madison Reed claims to do a good job. My experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The hairstylists do not meet even the most basic standards of professionalism--neither in their hair coloring skills nor in how they treat customers. From the start, my colorist applied the dye roughly, pulling my hair like a butcher. She smeared color all over my ears and even inside them, and when I tried to get her attention, she ignored me. I tried calling to speak to someone about how their coloring process works and all you get is a computer generated person. I show up to my appointment today, I show the colorist a video and specific photos as to exactly what I wanted. I wanted a bright gothic red. My hair looks purple burgundy. Looks like a child was trying to color my hair. I didn't want highlights I wanted my whole head a bright red with dark roots. I now have to go to the Chris brown concert with my hair covered because their is no evenness too this color... read more

I have been using this hair color for years. This time I had a problem with the color which I have been using the same color for years. I cannot get Madison Reed to do the right thing a refund for this past order would have been appreciated. Nope! They just want to fight!

Terrible and rude customer service, especially the lady with blue/green hair and the lady with the bug eyes. I suggest they either do some intensive customer service training or find a different career path

They make pausing or cancelling your membership when you are in the hospital for an extended time more difficult than it needs to be. The whole process made me think they're pretty gross and I won't be resuming using them when I'm out.

Never been treated like this before. Staff members rushing to close the store ( got last appointment at 5:45pm but there were already like other 6/7 people) . Got under timely , but halfway of the wait time on my root retouch , myself and all the other clients were asked to leave the work stations , so they could start cleaning!!! They made us seat on a small couch . When it was time to wash my hair, I felt like it was the first day on the job of the person washing my hair .. there was nothing professional about everything... read more

This review is for the website, which is glitchy and confusing. I tried to make an appointment for the UWS salon through the website, but it was impossible. It offered 20 per cent off for new clients, so I provided my email to get the discount, and it said this discount would automatically be shown at checkout. But then it would not let me book, it showed the lower rate but kept asking for a promo code. No promo code was given to me. So I couldn't book. This gives a very unprofessional impression.
