Walked In after passing before the holiday and thought I'd give it a try. Easy ,Pleasant Experience. So kinks but they know and are working them out. I will be back as my regular roots at the salon that does my highlights cost mr $250 after tipping every time. This will really help with the in between time. I really recommend it.

Tony B. is the best!! He does the best blow dry and the color I got today (my first time at this salon) is so beautiful! And also the biggest bonus was- the price is so affordable and it was such a quick service- in and out! Thank you Tony and everyone at Madison Reed!

Tony K. is the best! Listens to what you want, offers suggestions, and you're never disappointed! I have the curse of unruly curly hair, and he knows what to do with it, regardless of how I want it styled. The amazing thing is, his blowouts last several days. He even managed to wrangle my hair on a rainy day. I've started going to him for color now - his specialty!

have been using madison reed color for about 6 months now--ordering online + bringing it in to diff salons for application--and liking it--and finding everyone @ these salons equally impressed as well! was thrilled to see on FB that the color bar was opening--so i made an appt. loved the place--everything about the experience there was perfect! now i not only love the product, but the salon too! tony did an amazing job w/the color and blow out. got there @ 8am + then went off to work + got tons of compliments! can't wait to... read more

I have been to many times at flatiron location. This time the Hairstylist had got the colour right, exactly what I wanted, she was also trying to be attentive. However her skill of putting the colour on my hair and washing it off need training and plenty of room for improvement. She request my head to tilt it in the most uncomfortable way that causes great pain of my neck so she can brush it on my hair the way she think it works. Do not book here! I've never left a review like this but I wish someone had warned me prior to the experience I had. What an unprofessional place, my colorist was not only extremely rough with my hair causing damage, but was also working 4 girls at once which took 3 hours... during this he claimed that he understood what I wanted which was a root touch up and extremely small wispy highlights. I cancelled a subscription and product sent anyway. I requested a return mailing label and returned the product and a refund was never issued. I have USPS tracking number to show product was returned. I lost $70. Impossible to talk to a real person and artificial intelligence unable to help.

I'm not sure why Madison Reed claims to do a good job. My experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The hairstylists do not meet even the most basic standards of professionalism--neither in their hair coloring skills nor in how they treat customers. From the start, my colorist applied the dye roughly, pulling my hair like a butcher. She smeared color all over my ears and even inside them, and when I tried to get her attention, she ignored me.
