I've been using Madison Reed Color Service at home for almost 2 years. I recently starting working in the Flatiron District in NYC and excitedly found the MD Color Bar while checking out the surrounding neighborhood on my lunch break. Walked In after passing before the holiday and thought I'd give it a try. Easy ,Pleasant Experience. So kinks but they know and are working them out. I will be back as my regular roots at the salon that does my highlights cost mr $250 after tipping every time. This will really help with the in between time. I really recommend it.

Tony B. is the best!! He does the best blow dry and the color I got today (my first time at this salon) is so beautiful! And also the biggest bonus was- the price is so affordable and it was such a quick service- in and out! Thank you Tony and everyone at Madison Reed!

Tony K. is the best! Listens to what you want, offers suggestions, and you're never disappointed! I have the curse of unruly curly hair, and he knows what to do with it, regardless of how I want it styled. The amazing thing is, his blowouts last several days. He even managed to wrangle my hair on a rainy day. I've started going to him for color now - his specialty!

have been using madison reed color for about 6 months now--ordering online + bringing it in to diff salons for application--and liking it--and finding everyone @ these salons equally impressed as well! was thrilled to see on FB that the color bar was opening--so i made an appt. loved the place--everything about the experience there was perfect! now i not only love the product, but the salon too! tony did an amazing job w/the color and blow out. got there @ 8am + then went off to work + got tons of compliments! can't wait to... read more

Visited here on Thursday and was very intentional about the color I was hoping to achieve-- I'd brought photos and discussed at great length with the colorist. The outcome could not have been more disappointing. The color isn't close at all (I was seeking red, ended up with a rich brown). I've canceled my membership and won't be back. I should have stuck with DIY-- I knew exactly the color I wanted. Madison Reed is all hype.

They made my hair way too dark! I asked for a root coloring of a mid brown color which l had used with my own stylist from Madison Reed box dye. They must have left it on too long because l came out with almost Sable brown hair that looks way too harsh on me,though it did cover the grays thoroughly. While they were leaving the conditioner on my neck was in an uncomfortable position and l was actually a little dizzy when l got up.The place was clean and service was timely and polite.
