Had the opportunity to visit the salon for a roots&gloss and blowout session and it was a great experience! I have to say, everyone is super warm and friendly and this is important because it makes the whole experience more inviting :) They took the time to explain what root and gloss meant as I was unfamiliar with the process. The products they used were solid, no chemical smell and itchy scalps that one could sometimes get from harsher hair dyes. I got the color reviving gloss and blowout by Shannon and she was so pleasant to work with! She really wanted to make sure the color I chose for my hair made sense for me and was super patient about finding the perfect one. The whole experience was excellent and I would definitely come back if I wanted a touch up and to try a completely new color and look. The blowout at the end made me walk out feeling like a queen. Had best experience with Esme! She is super informative and friendly during the whole experience. I got the roots color, gloss and blow out package and it was amazing. Loved getting the scalp massage and chatting with Esme. Thank you @yelp for allowing me the opportunity to come to the Madison Reed Color Bar to partake in this fun experience! I'm following up on my February 11 post. In response to their public reply asking me to reach out via email, I contacted colorcrew@madisonreed.com on February 13. It has now been five days, and I have yet to receive any response - not even a confirmation that my email was received. It's frustrating to be directed to take the conversation offline and then receive no follow-up. At this point, I'm simply looking for acknowledgment and a resolution. I hope the company will respond and address this matter promptly.

This was my first and only visit here. I was barely greeted by a woman at the front desk, who clearly seemed like she did not want to be there. Then she walks over and starts going through my hair. She didn't introduce herself or tell me she was going to be my colorist. She told me to take my glasses off and I explained that I can't see anything without them on. I used to like this place but the last two times I were terrible. I went to get my roots done. The colorist left color around my hairline (didn't adequately protect the skin or wasn't careful about putting on the color); put on the color unevenly (I had areas where she missed applying the color, and the colorist couldn't have been more disinterested if she was trying. Would not recommend..

Well I found Madison Reed color bar an made an appointment. So I opted for a nice color they had . I love the color and the colorist was very nice . Took about 1 1/2 they color wash and have options you may add . Conditioners , blowouts and masks for the hair gloss etc . Things I never knew existed. They wash your hair add your products. The color was great but the wash didn't get all the color out so I ended up with two sores on each side of my head lasting more than a week. iI felt like amateur hour. I was very clear my greys were very resistant and the director suggested there stronger color. After we were done I noted to my colorist that it didn't appear that the color covered. She said it was the lighting. Sure enough once getting home it is clear the color did not cover. Now I'm getting the run around for a solution.
