I wish I had paid attention to the reviews. I initially booked for an all-over color and when the girl assessed me she said it should just be for roots so I thought that was fine since most of my greys are just at the hairline. The girl didn't make any nice chit chat with me. Then when my timer was up, she didnt come back. Because this hair bar fried my hair last year, on 8/21, and because the product is good, I recently ordered and paid for their product (product is good) for pickup. The order confirmation expressly said the order was ready for pickup and will be held for "5 days" at the Laguna location. I arrive at the Laguna location at 10 am on day 5 (8/26), and the staff said they cancelled my order (I never got any notice of that). Color was way too dark - despite showing them a picture of the color that I wanted. They asked for feedback via email. I gave it and the email mentioned someone would be in touch....but no haven't heard anything.

THE REVIEWS ARE RIGHT. PLEASE LISTEN: I originally booked for partial highlights, and even showed my confirmation, but was told upon arrival that it was for accent/balayage. After a brief consult with Michelle, I was talked into the balayage despite clearly explaining what I wanted. This used to be a great place with good customer service however in the last few years there has been a high turn over of employees over the years and unhappy employees with poor customer service. I arrived two minutes before my appointment, checked in, pointed to a seat and then forgotten for 30 minutes before someone noticed that I had been sitting there and asked again if I had been checked in. Hair dye left all over the side of my face & neck. They're not as professional & my hair didn't come out close to the color I showed them. She blow dried my hair & it was the worst I felt embarrassed. My hair felt very dry afterwards. Would not recommend this place to NO ONE !!!

I've been coming here on and off for a few years usually when I'm desperate to get a quick color. But my most recent visit has shown me that the quality has drastically dropped since I was there last. Before despite service and the very inexperienced staff, I could accept doing a root touch up for $60 or so. You get what you pay for. But now it's $90 which is close to getting it professionally done by experienced person. It really isn't worth it anymore. Service was good but the quality of work is terrible. I left with stains from the dye all over my face and clothes. Not something I'd recommend. At this rate it's better to buy the product and dye my hair myself.
