The girls here are so lovely and do such a great job. I used to go to a very expensive hair stylist and a friend talked me into switching to Madison Reed. I thought I would try it as I could always switch back but it's worked out great for me so I never went back. You pay $80 a month for unlimited root touchups. It's extra for highlights or a blowout but you get a percentage off if you are a member. They use European products so the quality is very high and it's much better on your hair. Came here for a emergency Root touch up, Got my roots dyed a gloss and a blow out! the service and concept are great and for the price you can't really beat it.I also became aware you can bring your own products if you prefer which is a plus if you're picky like me. I recommend Madison for all my girlies that need regular root coverage!

The first time I went to Madison Reed was a good experience. Although the color did not turn out as I anticipated, they were a friendly staff. However, as I continue to go I noticed significant hair loss and thus stopped going. Also the last time I did go it was on a Sunday and the staff was not very friendly. The girl that did do my hair seemed very irritated and was a bit rough with me.

I went in for my roots and had JoeAnna as my colorist, and I truly appreciate every time she works on my hair. She is fantastic when it comes to coloring--always gentle, kind, and attentive. I especially value her attention to detail and how she really listens to my hair needs while offering thoughtful suggestions. I'm always so grateful for her care and expertise. I have been coming to the Long Beach location over 3 years now, and the membership is the best money I can spend on myself! I love how easy it is to book even a same-day appointment, and everyone here is so great. A huge thank you especially to Joeana and Abba for covering my "barely there" roots every two weeks without oversaturating my hair. I recommend MR to everyone I know-the monthly membership is less than the cost of one color at any other salon, and I can come as often as I want!

It's very easy to make appointments via the app, it's easy to get an appointment that works with my schedule and everyone is friendly. The process is pretty seamless and extremely convenient. Not to mention my color is always consistent and looks great.
