I would leave zero stars if I could. They aren't real hairstylists who have no idea how to get brass ines's out of hair. Additionally, during my blowout they did my hair like a 1950's housewife. I couldn't recommend this place less for anyone who doesn't want to leave looking like John Travolta's character in Hairspray.

Nowhere in the online appointment booking do they indicate that they don't take under 18 appointments. Booked this for my daughter weeks in advance and found out when we arrived that they wouldn't color her hair because she's 15. Please update your sign up process to clearly indicate that.

I booked my appointment at Madison Reed Color bar Sam Ramon location for 3:15 PM. I called them that I was running late. I showed up at 3:22 (7mins) late. They checked me in and have me wait for 20 mins and said "you will have to go because you are 20 mins late". Seriously? Why not tell me when I checked in? Why yo have me wait for 20 mins? I went in to get a root touch up and partial highlights. It took about 2 hours. When the young lady was done, my hair looked exactly the same as when I walked in (but more damaged). I wasn't happy especially cause you could still see my grays. The receptionist said she'd book me for a manager chair (as I understood a manager would be assisting me or making the correction). Color turned out beautifully, especially the roots, which is what I was concerned about. The service was not recommendable. Color dripped onto my smock and was left there till after rinsing off. When I returned to my car after blowout and styling I noticed my ear was full of hair color. It was a dark color so very noticeable. My ear was burning after wiping off with tissue since ut was almost 2 hours now. Not sure how no one noticed that.
