This was only for a color consultation/purchase (no services). I attended a Madison Reed virtual house party last month and won a gift certificate. I decided to get a consultation rather than guessing which shade of brown to get. A color specialist helped me pick out a color and gloss for me to try. My first experience with Madison Reed and City Center Bishop Ranch itself! Madison Reed is located next to Starbucks, which unfortunately Google Maps has incorrectly in the plaza. I was about 10 minutes late from running around trying to find it. I had a special booked for Roots, Gloss and Blow Out. Due to my late arrival, I was unable to get the blow out. Thank you so much Bianca for your time and knowledge on what to do with my hair. I only started coloring my hair a couple years ago and have learned along the way what color I am trying to go for. With Bianca's expertise she gave me a new color and a recommendation for balayage to get the results I was really wanting. I got pampered, had a great time and my hair turned out amazing! Now I have such pretty hair with great color that doesn't require a lot of maintenance. Thank you again Bianca

Mercedes my colorist was the sweetest! She went over every process with me to make sure I would be happy with the results. They did an amazing job on my over processed brassy hair! Love!

The Madison Reed San Ramon color bar is nicely laid out, beautifully simple and looks a professional work area. Love the live moss walls. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and took great care of me. Mercedes was my colorist and asked me many questions and asked about my preferences. The prices are great especially since I purchased the root club membership because my hair grows quickly and is dark. I received a huge discount being my first time and the root club has many perks. During my recent visit, one of the colorists used bleach on my hair without my knowledge or consent, instead of the color service I normally request. This has caused me significant concern and distress. In addition, since I started going to Madison Reed, I have experienced significant hair loss and ongoing hair breakage, which has been very alarming.

You get what you pay for. $90 for a root touch up and wash, pretty darn cheap. But, oh my goodness! At what price?? This place always seems overbooked. With every salon chair occupied and the overflow of customers scattered around the rest of the "salon." The process feels very slow here. My appointment was at 2:15, it is now 4:010 and I'm currently sitting in the chair waiting to be called for a wash. This will be my last visit to any Madison Reed. I've been a loyal customer at this location since 2023. After my visit today, I'm unsure if I'll ever be returning. I walked in early for my appointment. My previous visit was less than 2 months ago and there have been some changes. First thing I noticed was the changes at the front. There's only a small corner to check in and out.
