They did an approximate job on my wife's hair. However, my complaint is about their pricing structure. Everything is an add-on. Even hair drying at $15. Their automatic tip (must make electronic change) is set at 40%. The nickel & dime price structure left me feeling cheated like everything is an upsell.

Even if you book your appointment way in advanced, the day of your appointment they cancel your appointment due to staffing issues . This keeps happening.

Do not go if your expecting anything less than a full color hair. If you're going for your entire hair to be one color it's probably perfect but also not a salon experience it's like a factory line. I would never recommend.

During my recent visit, one of the colorists used bleach on my hair without my knowledge or consent, instead of the color service I normally request. This has caused me significant concern and distress. In addition, since I started going to Madison Reed, I have experienced significant hair loss and ongoing hair breakage, which has been very alarming.

You get what you pay for. $90 for a root touch up and wash, pretty darn cheap. But, oh my goodness! At what price?? This place always seems overbooked. With every salon chair occupied and the overflow of customers scattered around the rest of the "salon." The process feels very slow here. My appointment was at 2:15, it is now 4:010 and I'm currently sitting in the chair waiting to be called for a wash. This will be my last visit to any Madison Reed. I've been a loyal customer at this location since 2023. After my visit today, I'm unsure if I'll ever be returning. I walked in early for my appointment. My previous visit was less than 2 months ago and there have been some changes. First thing I noticed was the changes at the front. There's only a small corner to check in and out. My first time and not going back! I think you guys should just stick to root colors only. I had balayage done and so bad. The balayage is uneven and chunky instead of smooth. And then I have to blow dry my own hair LOL.

Shame on you folks - Sure, my wife was 15 minutes late in reaching your place. The fact that she was treated so shabbily that she came back home in tears. She is the kind of person who won't even write a negative review online and so I'm compelled to do so. To calm her down, I advised her to write a letter to both your location and send a copy to corporate office. Someone sent her a text with the most feeble excuse offering a $15.00 credit.
