This is my first time getting my hair dyed - let alone highlights and they did a pretty good job considering that! Once they got to me I had a nice experience and had the opportunity to really get to know the staff! They made sure my color was perfect and subtle - just the way I wanted it! They brought me gum when I asked for it as well as tea/coffee/water. Some suggestions to business: It would be nice if you included look books or some reading material for while waiting. HELLO BEAUTIFUL IS RIGHT!!! 5 Stars for Madison Reed Color Bar In The Woodlands. Wow. What a treat. First off, I did not know that Madison Reed now has Brick and Mortars. This is my first time dying my hair at a hair salon and Madison Reed Color Bar made my first experience the best! The place itself is nice. Comfy chairs, bright and open floor plan, and a nice display of their color options and products. I came in for a root and gloss not really knowing what to expect. The best hair salon in the Woodlands, with excellent location in Market Street. Easy access and parking. The place is very inviting and extremely relaxing. It makes you forget that you have the tedious "task" of having your hair colored. I highly recommend this place. Employees are very friendly and professional. They spend time asking questions to make sure you are getting the color that you want. What I also like is they do not push products and services on you. I had my roots colored and glossed and then a blow out. The color looked great!!! I went to a party that evening and got soo many compliments. I definitely will be back.

What an awesome place!! Super close by, right in the Market Street of the Woodlands!! It's located closer to the HEB. Highly recommend to check this place out for your next hair appointment! You will pay way less that what your paying now! Gorgeous color options! They can do pretty much anything. Very clean and friendly! I love the gloss they use to revive the color of your hair! If you are in the area stop by and check it out!

The first time I came it was a Yelp event promo for service. It was so long ago, I barely remember the experience since all I got at that time was gloss service. Years later, I come back and I wanted to try a root service from this business because pretty much that's all they do is coloring service. It was easy to book online. It was easy to change your appointment without getting charged. I think the only time you get charged is if you cancel your appointment. i always get compliments on my color. my only complaint with this salon is the business model makes everyone in a hurry to get done so for example, if your highlights come out orange and need toning, your hair colorist has already moved on to the next customer and you are just there with the shampoo station person and your feelings, and you have to book another appointment to fix it. yes they fix it for free, but you just feel rushed the whole time and once your colorist has put your color on, she's into the next customer.... read more

I have been going to the Woodlands salon for a few months now. The color is great., the highlights wonderful. But today I had a very bad experience with both the stylist and shampoo lady. Both were very unfriendly and acted as if they hated their job. The stylist put barrier cream all over my face / yet when finished I had color all around my hairline on my face.
