Do NOT GO HERE. I showed the colorist a picture of myself with the EXACT COLOR I wanted. Wrong. Kaitlin put ash in what was supposed to be a light golden blonde. I came out an ashy brunette. Also upon reflection, I realized that there were no beauticians licenses posted anywhere in this shop. One other thing, when coloring your hair, you are not placed before a mirror, had I been, I immediately would have KNOWN, THE COLOR WAS WRONG. Horrible experience. I had an appointment at 5:30. At 5:20 i called the customer service to let them know I was stuck behind an accident. I held for over 20 minutes and hung up as I pulled into the parking lot. I walked in at 5:43 and waited a good 5 minutes before I was greeted. The receptionist with a very snarky attitude said "our policy doesn't let us take anyone after 10 minutes because it will put others behind." Horrible customer service. Instead she could have said we can do color but may not have time to for extras.... read more

Had an appointment at 9:00am. Drove 1.5 hours to come only to find the place closed and the store hours labeled as opening at 10:00am. I left at 9:10am and came back at 9:45am and shocked to see the place full. I asked the lady what time they open and she said 9:00am. I told her I was here at 9:00am and she said she was here 2 minutes before 9:00am. Talk about lying and gaslighting. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! They did not accommodate not apologize. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

The Madison Reed woodlands location is amazing ! I booked an all over highlight session, showed the picture to them what I wanted and the colorist instantly got it and delivered ! i was very nervous first but was super happy with the result. It took them over 3 hours to do my full head because i have a lot of fine hair, there were very professional and super nice. Definitely recommend it! Price is just right. I made an appointment 2 weeks ago, for my 14 yr old niece to get highlights, ON her birthday. Today is the day, and she has been SO excited! Sadly, I was contacted 1 hr before her appointment, and told they could not do her hair as planned, because she wasn't at least 18. This girl is devastated! Hair coloring stylist was good but the assistant was completely useless. She let the color sits on my hair way longer than it's supposed to be. I had to ask twice for some attention. At the time,there were only three customers in the shop and the assistant was not helping any customers, simply chatting away. When she was finally done with her chatting, without walking to me, she just shouted from across the room " you can come to the back now".... Summary: Please please please take your hair and wallet somewhere else. Madison Reed messed my hair up so badly that I almost lost a job. Dear potential Madison Reed customer: To start off with the good: I had a wonderful time conversing with my stylist (I can't remember her name but she was a lovely person) and the place was incredibly clean. Well I enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff we're extremely kind and professional. They explained the process and tried to match my Jet black and some grey that needed color mainly roots. This was a Thursday night by Saturday evening I took a shower and most of the dyed hair was grey and red spots I looked awe full by the following Thursday one week later. I tried this place twice . I really like it but after a week the colour starts to fade away and it changes (brown to red) This is really disappointing, not coming back again
