My Truck has an extended warranty purchased at a ford dealership and the and the service adviser treated it like it was my responsibility to work with them and it was a huge pain for him to do it... stating that it would take at least an hour and a half. Sorry and lies. Can't believe anything they say. Had our car for about 2 months to change transmission in it. Never could trust what they said.
Dropped my 2011 f250 off with Matt Tyler on Wednesday Oct 12,2022. I explained that I needed it back by Friday afternoon because I had a job out of town. I asked for a tire rotation and road force balance plus remove a nail in the back tire. I also asked if they could look for a battery drain but the tires were the main goal before Friday. Hard to reach by phone, don't pass on messages - calls appear to be outsourced to India. Appointments don't mean they will look at it that day (explained to me it may be 3 or 4 days before they can look at the vehicle once dropped off for appointment). Asked to have a check engine light looked into - told later when it came back on a day or two later that I told him I didn't want the check engine light looked at (that was a lie). I was charged 1,500. 00 to fix the stalling issue with my vehicle and still have the same issue with my vehicle. I called back, and they wanted an additional 500.00 to fix what they thought would solve the issue. Terrible business practice.
Absolutely horrible response to a major warranty issue with my truck. Very disappointing that other dealerships can address my issue much more efficiently than my own local dealer. Reconsidering bringing my truck or my company’s fleet of Ford trucks back to Mall of Georgia.
Car was towed into dealership twice because it would not start at home. Tow truck driver charged battery and car started but I insisted the car be towed in to find cause for the brand new battery not being charged, the Ford dealership kept the car three days and could not identify the problem and the problem still exist.
Service advisor did not communicate at all. Did not appear to communicate with his associates either.
