Features and operation Find this model operates quieter than previous owned models. Not too thrilled with the Paper Feed Tray. Difficult to remove in order to refill. Scanning is a bit slow, but that can be dealt with. Need improvement on the paper feed tray - just feels as if it won't last too long with the maneuvering required, but overall an excellent machine!
Fast, compact Got this printer when our lease contract was up for a Canon image printer. For a printer with a much smaller footprint it is packed with features. Print quality, speed and the fact that it's quieter make it ideal for the reception area.
Reliable This machine worked right out of the box and tech support helped me with the simple stuff like extending the letter to legal tray and working with two-sided printing.

MFC 5850dw..Small office workhorse this replaced a brother 8710.. this unit is better... newer technology, true reverse printing/copying.. I have only had it for 1 month and I am pleased, long term I am looking for better efficiency on paper/ink costs and less problems with mechanical parts... time will tell..
