Great update Updated my MFC-8840C with this MFC-L5850DW. The MFC-L5850DW cost less than the MFC-8840C did when new but performs even better. Never had a problem with any of my Brother printers or MFCs.
Exellent in operation Ease of operation. Good quality prints in few minutes
Early On Evaluation I do mostly tax related documents, especial tax returns. I have just started to use it and only for the copy function. While it is fast there are some shortcomings that my previous machine did not have including: (1) When printing 10 or more pages the originals often do not return to the after processing tray in the same order. Brother copier/scanner The copier/scanner was super easy to set up and has easy to follow instructions on the copier itself. The wireless capability is what I needed for my small business.
Stupid printer Great printer accept it prints some stupid things each time the printer goes out of sleep or the computer comes out of sleep. Figure it out with the new windows and get a fix
Extremely Slow Scanning Scanner is extremely slow. It initially worked fine. Now it takes ~30 seconds per page to scan anything. Customer service was not helpful. Was of money. Will not be buying another Brother printer.
Printer jams constantly Printer jams multiple times a week, received a refurbished replacement and it still jams.
