It's Fine: Just Never, Ever Unplug it, Lest you Get Sucked Down the Black Hole that is Brother Customer Service This printer worked well until the day I had to unplug it for about 5 minutes. I tried to troubleshoot this thing straight from the manual and then online before I finally tried Brother's chat service. I typed in my response and waited about 20 minutes. Wireless Nightmare! 1I have had massive problems with the wireless function on this MFC. I am at the point of hating it. Be careful how you use this product. Ok for casual printing, but don't use it commercially because it is built for light duty. Envelopes will be wrinkled and rendered unusable plus letterheads are not centered. For casual printing, it works ok. Scanner, fax work fine.
I hate printers. Loathe them in fact I hate printers. Loathe them in fact. I love this printer. I used ink jets for years and finally gave up on expensive ink, running out of ink constantly, and having to clean the print heads before each use. None of that applies with this laser printer. Everything works and I don't get pissed off when I have to print something.

Scanner has a multitude of issues with anything but very light work SCANNER REVIEW ONLY: ((Note: I will update this if Brother produces a firmware to correct these problems. Otherwise, I can only recommend this device for very light scanning use or where frequent power recycling is not an impact to the operator.
