Can't go too wrong with this Great for a moderate use home multi-function device - nice quality printing - it is a bit noisy when printing so I would not use it in a shared office environment, but for home use it is perfect. I like the interface and if it holds up as well as my other Brother laser printers, I'll be happy.

The scanner does a nice job with the printing and copying The scanner does a nice job with the printing and copying. The printer was easy to set up on our home network. However, it took several tries to set up scanning on our Apple network. And periodically the scanner function loses connection to my iMac and has to be set up again. For some reason this only happens to the scanner function and not the printing. It scans well when the connection is working.
Excellent all-around wireless printer. Excellent printer, fax, scanner, and copier (for lighter workloads). Relatively easy to set up. One point of reference for the technically challenged, like me: if you intend to set up the wireless printing feature, you may have forgotten (as I had) that the "key" you are eventually prompted to provide is, for purposes of setting up the wireless printing feature on this printer, synonymous with your home network's "password." Is is important to select manually the driver (and not use the default driver proposed) The printer is fine (B&W only Very hard to set up with a Comcast wifi router (it would get disconnected after a few minutes; Brother customer service made me reinstall the driver, but nothing changed).
