Short Review My second printer, downgraded from Brother MFC-8910DW as I need something small for home office. Compared to 8910DW .. - Speed is slightly less - Print has same quality - Copy quality is better - Better wife connectivity - No issues on Windows, Mac OS and Airport printing Pros: - Small footprint - Print and copy quality - Fair speed for home usage - Wife connectivity and compatibility Cons: - None so far, will update review if find any.
Beast of a Printer I have tried a bunch of other printer brands and while they have great features, the cost of ink was killing me. I felt like I was replacing the ink cartridges every month and I don't even print that much! I print maybe 50 pages a month and most is black and white. Laser Cartridge.....that's what I want! Nice quaity print! The first thing I like about this printer is the LASER cartridge! I hope to get more performance time with this one, rather than my other Brother ink jet printer. This is a nice, heavy, attractive printer, wired or wireless. I am using wired this time. The scanning is great, because you can scan TWO sides at once. and I got a nice printout of my pages, including the TWO sided printing. Great Cost Effective Monochrome Laser Printer My initial experience with this printer wasn't good - the installation of the Brother's included software from the packaged CD caused my laptop's keyboard and mouse to stop working (running widows 8.1 64 bit). I had to restore my computer to a previous point and start over. The second time I downloaded the newest software & drivers from Brother's website and had no problems. Slightly cumbersome set-up, but a good piece of equipment This budget all-in-one does the job. I'll keep things brief. Printing: Fast and clean. 'Nuff said. Scanning: The only problem I have is that when I connect wirelessly, pressing a button on the machine itself to scan doesn't seem to send the file to my computer.
