This has been our vet for 5 years. The new building is beautiful and the way they treat us and our 2 yorkies is great! The phone doesn't ring for long when you call in for an appointment or just have a question, and all the receptionists are extremely knowledgable, caring, and polite. I think the prices are fair for the quality of care we receive. I think they are honest and do not recommend anything that is not pertinant to your dogs health. Bentley and Gracie are two healthy fur-balls thanks to their great vet!
This clinic far outshines other animal clinics. Having moved multiple times and having taken my cat to other clinics, Midland Animal Clinic is wonderful. Their entire staff is friendly and positive. The vets take the time to explain what is happening and why they are administering medicine. I never felt like anyone was trying to sell me unnecessary services or products. My calls with questions were always returned in a timely manner. I will admit that the wait time can be a little lengthy but this is what happens when ... read more
Let me start by saying, the staff here are very friendly and accommodating. Sunday afternoon my maltipoo decided it would be a great idea to eat part of our sago palm. I had no idea at the time that #1 it was toxic and #2 that she was not only eating it, but eating enough for a 75 lb dog. She started throwing up later that night and was clearly not feeling well, I didn't think too much of it, I figured she must have eaten something that didn't agree with her. You see, she is quiet the lizard chaser and likes to be out in... read more
I had a very different experience from people thinking this is a money hungry clinic. I have only to Midland a few times for specific vet needs, and I always get routine shots at a clinic because the shot clinics are usually quicker and cheaper. Recently my older large dog needed to go in because she was unable to get up or walk without falling. Truly, the way she was acting I thought it was something really serious and we might have to put her down. I let the staff at Midland know I wasn't willing to go to extreme lengt... read more
The new building is nice and clean. The staff is friendly and Dr. Augustine is very knowledgable. The vet techs are also very good. Making an appointment is futile-there is always a 15-20 minute wait. A little bit pricey, but it's close to where we live and so far, they have been really good with our lab. I wouldn't be comfortable going anywhere else. They don't pressure you into spending more money unlike other places. And they were thorough about giving us information for our lab's meds.
I just took our new greyhound there yesterday and was very impressed with the new facility. We went based on a recommendation and am glad we did. Very clean, courteous and efficient. We go to a different vet with our cockatiels and will probably switch down the road for them also. There was no 'pressure' in terms of service pushing and they did what they needed to do without fuss. Based on this first visit, I would recommend them
I've taken all my pets to Midland for many years. I love their new location and the staff is super nice. I think their services have greatly improved since moving to the bigger new location. Just having more room makes everyone, espcially the pets, feel more comfortable. The services are always top notch and they are great about follow up care as well. They're slightly pricey but my fur animals are worth every penny. You get what you pay for!
I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I had gotten routine checkups and shots over the years, but last March my 13 year old Ragdoll began losing a lot of weight and she just didn't seem herself. The vet was wonderful, kind, thorough and reasonable in his approach. He gave her a very complete physical hands on exam and said all internal organs seemed normal size. He suggested 3 possibilities--she could be older than we thought (unknown history at time of adoption at Humane Society), it could be an infection, ... read more
Have gone here a couple of times and was very pleased. Extremely nice front desk, doctors are nice, and so are the vet techs. It's pretty easy to make appointments and they even were able to squeeze me in last minute once. As a puppy mom who worries A LOT, I only had one "complaint"...there was a time when I brought my dog in and despite the symptoms, they couldn't find anything wrong with her. I brought her back home (after paying the bill) and her symptoms still remained after a week. Ultimately she was fine, but I would... read more
