I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I had gotten routine checkups and shots over the years, but last March my 13 year old Ragdoll began losing a lot of weight and she just didn't seem herself. The vet was wonderful, kind, thorough and reasonable in his approach. He gave her a very complete physical hands on exam and said all internal organs seemed normal size. Have gone here a couple of times and was very pleased. Extremely nice front desk, doctors are nice, and so are the vet techs. It's pretty easy to make appointments and they even were able to squeeze me in last minute once. As a puppy mom who worries A LOT, I only had one "complaint"...there was a time when I brought my dog in and despite the symptoms, they couldn't find anything wrong with her. Just visited here for the first time today based on a suspected case of UTI in my cat. The front desk staff has to be among the friendliest I've ever met anywhere, and although they were running almost 30 minutes behind (apparently it was a very busy morning) I never felt ignored. The waiting area is roomy, clean and modern, with plenty of seating and lots of magazines. Took Marley there for the first time this past Wednesday and must say that I came away impressed. The facilities are clean, modern, and spacious. The staff was friendly and asked lots of questions (always a good thing from a vet). We didn't have all the answers and they spent some time doing research for us. That was another great plus. The bill was reasonable and we felt welcome the entire time. We're definitely going to come back here again to see if the service stays this good. I want to be optimistic.

Although the old Midland Animal Clinic has been around for many years just across the street (I hadn't been a client until this past weekend), I had been watching the new building go up over the last year or so with great interest. It's located right across from the beautiful Old Poway Park. I wish I had a photograph of this building because the architecture and design is just gorgeous. Midland Animal Clinic is the best vet in the North County Area! I took my 12 pounds Chihuahua, Peanut, in for his 3-year vaccine boosters. We had previously been a patient at the Center Vet Clinic in Mira Mesa who always charged us at least $400 a visit and were very rough with my little guy. This was my first time at Midland and the staff was super friendly. When my dog got his temperature taken, shots given, and blood drawn, they were very caring, gentle and understanding. Personally, I would steer clear of this place Over the years I heard good things so decided to bring my 16 year old cat in Eventually had to put her down The cost was almost $500 The handled it badly When I left I was in shock both by the obvious plus the unprofessional way it was handled Front staff is unfeeling Since then, I've heard a lot of bad stories which happened since the large corporation took over years ago Do not recommend

LOL. They finally just responded with AI what a freakin joke. You want me to call you. No one should ever go to your practice with their pets. You don't care at all. All your front office does is gossip at the front desk and are extremely rude. Not only in person but on the phones. Again, I always listen as I am in customer service. Maybe one day the doctors will take this serious. Look at their review history. Don't count on it

Shame on you Dr. Nguyen. Shame on you for allowing your front office staff to treat customers like they are trash. Like there concerns don't matter. Not only was this NOT my first, 2nd, or 3rd bad experience I still kept trying. You take your loved pet here, expect to wait forever!!! They always are over booking. You sit and wait and No One who sits at the front even acknowledge that you have been waiting. Oh and there are always hidden fees so that is always exciting! Their phone skill suck!
