The Lodge doesn't look anywhere near as good as the marketing photos. The Lodge is very old and is badly in need of renovation, possibly to the point of tearing it down and rebuilding from the ground up.
Blah Staff . Non welcoming staff. Pretty sure she smokes a pack of cigarettes a day . The neighbors that were staying next door
Poor The room was so dirty that I had to wash my feet three times, from going barefoot on the floor. Still ended up getting dirt in my sheets. And the toilet seat was not clean. But worst of all was the pool: there is no excuse to keep it closed 48 hours straight each week on a regular basis. The whole reason I chose this place was for the beautiful pool, and I couldn't use it at any point in my multi-night stay. They should warn you about that on their website, in big letters. There was no such thing as customer service at this place. We were not given enough towels for 3 people. When I called for more, I was told that both housekeeping and, in 15 minutes, which would be 6PM, the front desk would be closed. The bathroom had no vanity or area to place toiletries. The noise of guests above us moving things til after midnight was maddening. We never had housekeeping service at all. We were there for 3 nights. I would not return or recommend. Disappointing
Very bad accommodations even for my pet. The room was dirty. It was listed as pet friendly but no walking area for your pet. No leash or restrictions on guests controlling their pets. The ice machine so dirty and over frosted you were afraid to use it. I stayed one night out of four, the manager promised a refund on some have not see any yet The area was pretty and the trails were great.
Very Poor Bathroom water faucet hardly had running water and the water was cloudy. The ceiling fan too loud. Had to turn it off. Nothing
Not enjoyable stay. Room was dirty. Bugs on the bathroom floor behind the door. Heating unit very loud as it went on and off so it was hard to sleep. Mattress was old and we both had backaches. Pillows were very small. Lots of light came into the room through the stained glass panel, which also made it hard to sleep. Woman that was at reception desk was helpful and pleasant.
Extremely disappointed Not clean especially the bathroom/shower/black mold all over shower water controls fell off when using Location
