What an amazing facility with the best staff. Clean, awesome equipment, great classes and the best childcare staff/area in the valley. My family's entire physical, emotional and mental health have improved. Additional kudos to Mountainside for going above and beyond to keep their facility safe and open during these difficult times.
This gym is awesome!!! Very clean and very friendly staff!! Lots of equipment so very little too no waiting time. Also love their classes!!!
Great gym has all the amenities you'd want plus a basketball hoop and sauna/ steam rooms. Equipment is new and in great shape. Yelp should really remove the Down voters that don't even have a membership here that just came to troll because of the coronavirus. This is an excellent gym
The staff doesn't clean the facility, nor do they ask the members to. I reached out multiple times via email expressing my concerns about mountainside's lack of cleaning practices. It wasn't until I added this video, taken at 4:33 am on May 27th that they agreed to cancel my membership without penalty. Now that they're refusing to honor the mandate from the Governor to close their doors I thought I should share this and update my review. I submitted several request to cancel my membership! This company has has not cancelled my account as if 06.16.2020. With the Covid19 they require you to come in and cancel!? I went in to cancel in person 06.12.2020 and the manager Justin Dassele wanted a payment June 2020 payment, when I've been trying to cancel since March 30th, 2020. Justin wouldn't cancel my member. When I joined Mountainside, I was promised 2 free personal training session as part of a promotion. I was told they'd be reflected on my account, and that I should start out with a session with their lead trainer, Mario Bundy. I figured I'd get a real training session. However, it mostly consisted of Mario Bundy questioning (rudely) how I could know anything about fitness (read as: you need their personal trainers for which you need to pay). Great place to workout. Lots of friendly staff to help out at anytime. Very clean and modern. Free towels and lots of space in the mens bathroom for showers, steam sauna, dry sauna and your locker for a change of clothes. I attend many of the workout classes and yoga and have always found helpful friendly people there to motovate you to do your best. The best place I've found.
Mountainside Fitness is without a doubt in my mind, the best fitness club in Arizona. The value is incredible, providing access to over 17 Valley wide locations, dry sauna and steam rooms, and 80 + group fitness classes included in my membership! Mountainside Fitness Awatukee, Phoenix on Ray Road Phoenix acquired my membership from another facility and never contacted me concerning this transfer. Mountainside Fitness business practices are very questionable and misleading. Customer service is lacking. I would not recommend joining this type of establishment due to my personal experience.
