I submitted several request to cancel my membership! This company has has not cancelled my account as if 06.16.2020. With the Covid19 they require you to come in and cancel!? I went in to cancel in person 06.12.2020 and the manager Justin Dassele wanted a payment June 2020 payment, when I've been trying to cancel since March 30th, 2020. Justin wouldn't cancel my member. When I joined Mountainside, I was promised 2 free personal training session as part of a promotion. I was told they'd be reflected on my account, and that I should start out with a session with their lead trainer, Mario Bundy. I figured I'd get a real training session. However, it mostly consisted of Mario Bundy questioning (rudely) how I could know anything about fitness (read as: you need their personal trainers for which you need to pay). Great place to workout. Lots of friendly staff to help out at anytime. Very clean and modern. Free towels and lots of space in the mens bathroom for showers, steam sauna, dry sauna and your locker for a change of clothes. I attend many of the workout classes and yoga and have always found helpful friendly people there to motovate you to do your best. The best place I've found.

Mountainside Fitness is without a doubt in my mind, the best fitness club in Arizona. The value is incredible, providing access to over 17 Valley wide locations, dry sauna and steam rooms, and 80 + group fitness classes included in my membership! The staff is incredible and the facility is always in top notch shape and cleanliness. If you're in the market for a new gym, I highly recommend Mountainside Fitness. Mountainside Fitness Awatukee, Phoenix on Ray Road Phoenix acquired my membership from another facility and never contacted me concerning this transfer. Mountainside Fitness business practices are very questionable and misleading. Customer service is lacking. I would not recommend joining this type of establishment due to my personal experience. After having an accident and breaking my leg these people would not work with me. Sheryl is the fakest person I have ever met. The management is unacceptable at this location. Customer service is non existent. If golds didn't close down, these people wouldn't be in business. The inside smells worse than goodwill and tthe machines look like they came from hulk Hogan's s home in the 90s.

I am a new member to mountainside that got caught up in the golds gym debacle, through the unwarranted transition from golds I found the mountainside staff and particularly the manager Caitlyn to be extremely kind and helpful. They helped me to see that I am actually getting more out of my mountainside membership than I would have at golds gym. I go to MS fitness everyday and I'm treated respectfully and always greeted by a smiling team member, which is a great way to start my days Workout. I highly recommend joining mountai... read more

Best health club ever!!! One important reason is how clean it is! The club offers great amenities. Nice and friendly staff, tons of group exercises to choose from. My personal favorite is the PPZ class! Family friendly environmental as well!

Was leaning between a 3 and a 4 star. Things I really like: good equipment, showers, towels, and a very clean facility overall. Things I wish were different: additional platforms for deadlifting, a bigger facility to accommodate for the number of members, more times for cycling classes. Not that bad of a place, but defInitely not my first choice.
