Love this gym, great classes, always clean, and the staff is awesome! We've been part of mountainside for a few years now and we love how you can choose which location you go to, and our kid loves the kids club!

This gym would be great if it wasn't for the money hungry staff! Called me on thanksgiving with my family to try and sell me an extended membership I said no thanks because I have moved from the area... apparently I have to send an official letter from the post office to cancel! Are you kidding me? Time and money out of my day to take care of something that should be able to do over the phone!! Being an amateur gym-goer, this review is a special thank you to Bobby who works evenings at the front desk and has truly enhanced my experience. He has gone above and beyond in customer service. Whether he is showing me new exercises/machines or lending a friendly ear when it's been a rough day, I can't speak highly enough about him. Whatever he's paid, this guy deserves a raise!

This mountainside is convenient for me to go to but some staff here are nice other ones here are just terrible and rude, and it is filthy. The first thing I do in my car is use hand sanitizer the amount of times I see guys in locker room go to the bathroom and not wash their hands is DISGUSTING. Their speakers outside are ready to blow they play it so loud. This place is turning in to the new LA Fitness. Go to Lifetime or the village if you can.

Isn't it funny how all the good reviews written for mountainside gyms are from fake accounts with only a single review? Yeah it's for a reason. This mountainside is brand new yet they already have so much bad press. Filthy always and the music (terrible btw) is always blasting and causes people who are listening to their own music to go deaf trying to fight the speakers. Also the owner is mountainside is super anti-Covid anti-mask so why pay the $1,000+ per year?

I'm a huge fan of Mountainside Fitness and I've been to many of their locations and always been happy with the employees, classes, equipment and the facilities. This location stinks like a dirty locker room from the second you walk in throughout the entire building. It is filthy and disgusting and I will never come back to this location again. I wish I can give you 5 stars because you're in my neighborhood, but then I'd be lying! They have good equipment and lots of classes, good place to leave your kids at too. BUT please!! Require your instructors to update their music! It's so... old school! Not trendy or motivating for a workout class. There are other mountainside locations with BETTER music. Please, do us all a favor and get your instructors with better music.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE. I took my two year old in and they have cameras so you can watch the kids and I could not see mine for a few minutes, so I went in and out of the 4 staff members not a single one knew where he was. Turns out he was in the bathroom all by himself, for who knows how long. I cannot believe they let a 2 year old kid in the bathroom by himself, and then proceeded to not check on him. This place is not meant for young children.
