My mother was in this lousy facility less than 2 months when she passed away. They were directed to call 911 at 9:15 am. They finally called at 10:53 after she was deceased. I was lied to several times about the situation and circumstances by different staff members. My mother weighed about 130 when she arrived but only weighed 110 at the time of her death. What I thought was a blessing ended up being a complete nightmare!

Just moved out. Did not get the care we were told. Could not recommend to anyone! Also the housekeeping has a lot to be desired. Understaffed. Often only 1 person has to cook, clean, do laundry, caregive.

My family member was first in Memory care due to room availability then moved to Class1 home. There have been some issues that the staff is addressing. Management has made improvements for the best care. Staff is friendly and willing to assist both the family member and client. Mustang prepares 3 well balanced meals daily and assists clients with bathing room cleaning and meds. The pharmacy they use is more expensive but pills are packaged for convenience. Overall 4 stars. Good value. Like most places they struggle with staffing issues, but have been good about covering the requirements.

There is no consistency as to when they put my mother in law to bed. One night it might be 10:30 and the next it could be as early as 6:30 at night. We have told them she is a fall factor and one night when they put her to bed they left her shoes in the middle of the floor for her to trip over. I could say more but will leave it at that for now.

The nursing care service there is practically nonexistent. I very seldom see activities going on for the residence. They don’t consider personalities when matching up roommates which I feel is very important , with this facility I have to stay hands-on every day and call and make sure they’re doing the things that mom needs done for her care. While nice, this is not what we are needing for a couple, It serves a single person better. The staff was great and all of the houses were clean. We love the area and wished the rooms were bigger. The thing that will stop us here is that there is no Medical staff on site.

We toured at Mustang Creek Estates, and I really liked the community a lot. While I liked it, I did not feel it would be the best fit for my loved one. I felt the environment and the small size of the community would not be suitable for her.
