When my mom first moved here she was on the memory care side was not a good experience due to the roommate she had as well as the care. Every time I went into that building it smelled like urine and we had other problems with cleanliness. We ended up moving her to the assisted living and the experience has been much better for her. They are all separate pods and she has not had any issues. I would recommend the assisted living side, but not the memory care unit.

We chose Mustang Creek Estates at the time because they were the only ones that would take us. I would tell others to beware and stay away from this facility.

We chose Mustang Creek Estates mainly due to the good value for the money. The room sizes at the facility are pretty good for what she needs. The rooms in memory care are all shared and they really try their best to match the residents up together based on personality and interests. They do their best to accommodate as much as they can and I would recommend to others looking.

They are horrible. The community sells a bunch of [removed]. They are non responsive at corporate or owner. I've emailed 27 times with no response. They treated my loved one horrible. I would not put my worst enemy in the community. They aren't consistent, constantly give excuses. They aren't compassionate, they negate any empathy during the transition of your loved one. The community has different levels of care and my loved one is very happy here. The food is great and the community is neat and clean. The staff is very friendly and I would recommend this community to others based on my experience

They leave their memory care building unattended overnight. Would not recommend them to anyone.

In the beginning, this was a great fit but the recent turnover has us questioning our decision. We feel that they are understaffed at the moment but the folks they do have are quialfied. Communication is good and they do return our calls quickly.

We were able to do a couple of window visits with our loved one. The community wouldn't allow outside caretakes such as hospice into the community for our loved one. My loved one was there for a short amount of time prior to their passing. Everything was nice in the way the staff treated our loved one. They must have automatic payments withdrawn each month. Mustang Creek is a smaller community with 16 rooms. I would recommend as a smaller community for your loved one.

Three things. 1) When we finally did get to go in person to see my loved one, every time we came for an appointment, they never got her ready for our visit. 2) She was never in her own clothes. When we saw her, she was always in somebody else's clothes. 3) While she was there, she developed bed sores and pneumonia, and became completely bedridden within 3 months.
