We have not been happy with this facility. Frequent staff changes. Untrained staff. Staff who are rude to residents. Meals are all from frozen foods. Limited activities provided to residents who do not have an activity room in there house. I found my dads house unattended for over 45 minutes-no staff in the building

My mother was in residence At Mustang Creek Estates, Sachse, for a total of six weeks this winter. It was her initial move into 24 hour care. The Day before my mother moved in the executive Director, left her job suddenly. This was an omen. We wish we had recognized but we had a contract and a deposit and did not feel we could back out. Staffing was entirely inadequate. We were promised a lot more care than we're getting. I know they're busy, but the weekend staff is super bad. My loved one complains about them all the time. The weekday staff is good. I would rate the weekday staff at a 4, but the weekend staff at a 1. I do like the smaller houses, so only 12 residents in a house. [Name removed] is awesome, she works second shift. My loved one was previously a resident at Mustang Creek Estates Sachse. Overall, the facility seemed very understaffed and it affected all areas. It was all terrible to witness.

Picked this place because it was pretty new and clean. I would recommend, only if their loved ones were not active. For an active senior who's always been busy not enough for them to do to keep them occupied. They would basically be in their room all alone majority of the time. The place overall is in extremely clean and modern but just not for my mom.

The staff is always outside or entertaining their own children or family members. The patients have to wait for hours for anything they ask for or need. Our family member has fallen numerous times and laid on the floor for long periods of time. When any staff member is asked what happened, the reply is always they don't know, they weren't there, or they normally don't work in that building. Management was not given the tools, resources or finances to deliver adequate staff or quality care, corporate didn't help them or care either. Corporate for this facility did NOT return calls or answer complaints despite many attempts! The units are understaffed especially the evening shifts. Some staff were very immature and not well trained, one in particular was more concerned with visiting favorite residents and how her nails looked than caring for clients. It's one of the worst places. They were not taking care of my loved one, who was left unattended. The caregivers were often no where to be found, to take care of the other residents.The food was horrible. The staff was not well trained. Beware!!!

The lies ,the promises by the director are so bad and yet the owners believe in that she is doing a great job. In reality she needs a career change and never be allowed to be in any facility dealing with the elderly. The turn over in employees are about every two weeks, bad management.
