Honestly, we're not having a very good experience. Even though it would be a pain to uproot my father-in-law again, I'm considering looking for another assisted living facility for him. I will say, two executive directors have been let go, so we're now on the third one in just seven weeks. The first one was fired because of a medical issue that was mishandled. My 90 year old father in law caught the mistake in his dosage of water pills because he was feeling bad and ankles swelling, but it was too late and he ended up in the... read more
One time my loved one fell out of the bed was on the floor for 3 hours uncalled for one day he was changed for 12 hours. Very rude to my aunt they would bring stuff for him don't think they ever gave him a shower they never use just lift they picked him up by his arms which he has a bad shoulder and I can go on and on and on.
Like many other facilities there is a lot of turnover. It is better than most from my research, so yes I would recommend the community to other families based on the experience so far.

They were willing to provide the extra care and service he needed. They have a cluster of homes in each location. For different levels of needs.

They worked with us on price. Seem very helpful and accommodating. Seems like they come and go. Activity directors. So that impacts the frequency.

Great staff, caring and passionate. Could've been better if they were fully staffed and actually took time to make sure the patients are actually taking their medications. But other than that, it was good overall. They are super nice. But they are extremely understaffed. There was numerous times we couldn't get in the house she was in because nobody was in the house to open the door that was authorized to do so. And they do not watch the residents take their medications to make sure they actually take them.
Everyone was very friendly and supportive. Administration was a bit slow responding to some questions, but super fast on others. Would definitely recommend the facility.

The facility and staff were very nice, polite, and worked with my mom. That was not easy. My mom made it challenging for them, but they continued to try. She was in the Assisted Living Plus building and she was able to get out. The door is not locked. But an alarm will sound when the door is opened without putting in the code first. This place did not meet my mom’s expectation because she came from an Independent Living place and wanted the same accommodations she had there. Recently moved Mom into the Memory Care House at Mustang Creek. From our first initial meeting the staff went above and beyond to help get her placed and were genuinely interested in her well being. From the minute we pulled up to move her in, staff came out to greet her and help get her out of the car and settled inside. Mom did not do well at her previous facility but I feel like with the house like setting and smaller numbers of residents, Mom gets the care she needs.
