While you never want to be away from your loved one, the house manager and most of the staff are loving and competent. The food is homemade and the environment is inviting. The rooms are a bit small and cleanliness could be better.

Admin team is very cheerful and helpful. Quick to respond to issues. Quite understanding that all seniors are not in the same place mentally and that aging gracefully without having to go to mental care is an option. I like the "all in" cost structure where all care and services are combined into monthly rent. Many places "nickel and dime" you to death. The environment is extremely homey! They have many different room sizes available based off of what you loved one needs.

The environment for me has been awful. For my husband it has been just okay. The staff is not good especially one of the ladies. She is very confrontational. Food is okay at best. It is usually cold and not served so he can eat it. They don't cut things up for him, etc. Sometimes it is okay.
We are happy with Mustang Creek. My father in law appears to like the food. Apartment is a little small. The facility is clean. Staff are nice and patient to me and my husband.

Honestly, we're not having a very good experience. Even though it would be a pain to uproot my father-in-law again, I'm considering looking for another assisted living facility for him. I will say, two executive directors have been let go, so we're now on the third one in just seven weeks. The first one was fired because of a medical issue that was mishandled. My 90 year old father in law caught the mistake in his dosage of water pills because he was feeling bad and ankles swelling, but it was too late and he ended up in the... read more
One time my loved one fell out of the bed was on the floor for 3 hours uncalled for one day he was changed for 12 hours. Very rude to my aunt they would bring stuff for him don't think they ever gave him a shower they never use just lift they picked him up by his arms which he has a bad shoulder and I can go on and on and on.
Like many other facilities there is a lot of turnover. It is better than most from my research, so yes I would recommend the community to other families based on the experience so far.

They were willing to provide the extra care and service he needed. They have a cluster of homes in each location. For different levels of needs.
