Mustang Creek is a wonderful community. They have all of the accommodations they say they do. I would recommend that you stay on top of the care that your loved one needs, and make sure you state things to the staff to get these care types accomplished. The staff does take care of the requests; however, it can be slow for implementation of these requests. I like Mustang Creek Estates Sachse a lot! There's always enough staff. Each one has their favorites and gives them a little more TLC. They're very nice and kind. There is always someone there to help, and they answer the call buttons and get there as quick as they can. It's a homey environment. It's a smaller community in a house, with only about 10 people, and I like that setup. And there's always two staff members there 24/7.

During our loved one stay our family had a wonderful experience. We really appreciated how flexible the staff was with visitation hours. We also loved how the kitchen was set up, the residents could watch the chefs cook and that was something our brother always loved doing.

The community itself is very clean, but the house keeping in our loved ones room could use a little bit of an improvement. Mustang Creek is very convenient to us, and we really like how they have a few residents in a home so the staff members are much more attentive and can provide more one on one care. Also the activities they have are excellent.

We chose Mustang Creek Estates because we had to make a quick decision quickly and they were close to our home and had availability at the time. It is a very nice facility. I do think that they could improve on their communication with the family members. Other than that, we think she is getting great care and we are satisfied with our decision. I would recommend to other looking.

The facility itself is very good, however they are having some issues with their staffing. The people who have been there for a long time are really good. They are doing some activities, but our loved one says the food there sucks. The value for cost is pretty good.
