We had an emergency with Dad and needed to find an assisted living facility for him fairly quickly. I contacted A Place For Mom, and they provided 3 places for me and my husband to tour. Mustang Creek Estates in Sachse was the first stop, and we were both really impressed, with the people we met and with the idea of having houses that are like home, instead of a clinical type setting, for the assisted living. Easy a 5 cross the board. Great loving and caring staff. We go by and take them home made cookies on a regular basis The staff to resident ratio was good 24 hours a day. Each unit is like a house with a common living room and a kitchen where the meals are home cooked.

Newly build location in a very nice neighborhood. Inside it very open and very clean. Rooms are good size for a resident and bathrooms are huge. The parking spots are limited. Nice walking trails nearby. I felt very secure and safe in the area. Staff was very nice and friendly. Large screen TV in main living area.

Best in the area. We both (a cousin and I) had good friends who had a family member at MCE recently. They were highly satisfied. We loved the layout of the houses (dining, open kitchen, TV area). We loved that meals are cooked in the house and not in large volume. And we were happy to hear, as one of your Sales associates said, "we buy our food from the grocery store".

Mustang Creek has multiple houses which are grouped by needs of the individual! The facility is a house with many bedrooms. The kitchen, dining and living room are common areas. A staff member cooks 3 meals and one can either eat in the dining area or a meal can be brought to their room.

The community is great! It is exactly the type of environment my mom needed. The homes have an amazing family style arrangement for the living and dining areas. Meals are home cooked daily. Nothing about the environment feels institutional. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and loving. I cannot say enough great things!!!

All are a 5! This was the best place for my Mom ! This facility does the very best in every category to take the best care of my Mom. The Arabella hospice nurses and aides are amazing as well! Thank you so much for your help in finding this place for my Mom! Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend this community to others!

We like the set up at Mustang Creek. It is like a house and the director, [name removed] is amazing. Staff members are very friendly and genuinely care about the residents. They go out if they're way to see that the residence are well cared for. At least that is our perception of the memory care house. The food is cooked from scratch, in a kitchen just like you have at home. If you have a staff member that is not accustomed to cooking, meals are somewhat simple. Residents don't seem to mind

The staff is very friendly, caring, and compassionate. They try very hard to do all they can, and for the most part they do a great job. It's just that they need more people, just so that they can check on the patients more frequently than they're able to currently. Also, the food and activities could use a little bit more variety. But overall, I would definitely recommend looking into it for your family member.
