Get directionsThe staff was wonderful. They were so sweet and understood just how precious our baby boy means to us. They took very good care of our bernedoodle and kept us informed throughout the entire hospital visit. We were sent to see the neurologist from our regular vet and was seen same day. “Tito” stayed in the hospital for two days and even though it was a scary time for us, they made sure we knew he was a priority. It was definitely worth the drive and our baby is getting a little bit better every day.

It’s taken me several months before I felt like I could keep myself together enough to leave a review. Seemingly out of nowhere, my 9 year old Shih Tzu, Cash, started having fainting spells. My local vet realized the urgency and STRONGLY suggested I make the 2 hour drive to NVS, as they have a full team of professionals and equipment in house to get results fast. I was very impressed with the professionalism, compassion and true caring of the hospital staff. Doctors Long and Cason were extremely friendly and truly care for their patients and their families. Our very loved family member Max, now 9 years old (and a handsome chocolate lab) was diagnosed with cancer in the fall of 2020. Our local vet at North Alabama Animal Hospital referred us to Dr. Vancil and staff at NVS. We could not be any more pleased with the outcome. From the time I got there with my pet I felt reassured by the staff. Dr. Skiles was very kind and reassuring. And Dr. Roach was also very straightforward and professional.
