the cleaning was fine; the work was professional. What I am not happy about was the removal of my gutter guards. I was asked to authorize removal of gutter guards to continue cleaning. The rep made it sound like it would only be a couple pieces of gutter guard. It turned out that it was the entire gutter guard system. I felt duped which is not a good feeling if you are a customer. Will not use these guys again.

Crew arrived over a week later than promised. No call or notice of the delay from the office. When crew arrived, I asked how many jobs they were scheduled for that day, 14 was the answer. I asked how many they would complete, 4-5 was the answer. Now you understand why they were over a week late.

On April the 23rd 2020 I received a phone call from this company requesting my inquiry into the home advisory home improvement company so we spoke about my issue with my gutters and the lady said they will clean and fill in cracks around the scene I received the service on April 24th but did not get the service they said instead they said I needed new gutters because mine was not lining up properly now I remind you I had another gutter cleaning company come before them. Scheduled them to come out and do my annual gutter cleaning. During the scheduling call, there is the inevitable upsale attempts trying to get me to schedule for dryer vent cleaning, quarterly gutter cleaning, etc. They take my home info, ask if I have gutter guards and what type. Upon arrival we were told there would be an extra charge to remove the gutter mesh system and we had to call the office to give permission to remove them. Before customer service answered the workers were already on the roof removing the system. We were told the extra charge was $75. We were forced to pay the extra change because the workers had already started the work before we gave permission.

Ned Stevens is utterly disreputable. The crews they send are bad actors. You do not want them on your property. I had used Ned Stevens several times, and they deteriorated steadily. Whenever they clean gutters they always make up some complaint that requires an expensive repair. The last time I used them they broke one end of the gutter away from the roof. My comments are to improve service to future customers. The two-man crew came to clean my gutter without advance notice by telephone. Therefore, nobody was at home. Thanks to my camera, I came back home within 20 minutes, the crew was already in the truck ready to leave. Ned Stevens employer said the gutter cleaning was done but refused to tighten or replace 6 screws that connect 3 gutter panel sections which are a part of the contract (value $29 but throw in for free as an incentive).

Ned Stevens Company did substandard work repairing (paid extra for) and cleaning my gutter. They left my faucet with a steady leak that needs repair. I called the same day but they have done nothing to address either the gutter repair or damage to my faucet. They did manage to charge my card though.
