It all started in 1965. A milkman named Ned Stevens became friendly with the customers on his route. Over time, those customers started to ask Ned if he could help out with some work around their homes. Ned noticed that more often than not, customers were asking to have their gutters cleaned… and Ned's Home was born!

Get directionsA representative of Ned Stevens called me right away and I agreed to have them perform gutter cleaning. They tried to upsell me on an annual plan, and did upsell me on cleaning my dryer vent at an exorbitant rate. So far, although my card was charged immediately, there is no evidence that service has been rendered, and I have no idea when it will occur. Further, their website is deceptive in that it indicates that they do more than clean gutters and will repair them as needed, but the salesperson said I should contact someon... read more
The did the job but left dead leaves in scrubs and on deck and roof was not completely clean. I called and they did come back and cleaned some of it but not all. The final bill was never received by mail and they charged me a service fee on top of what I thought was a high price for what they did. Hopefully, others will have better luck.
Not a good business. They have rude manners and bad customer service skills. My wife dealt with them and they would not do what she asked. The tech was here for 10 minutes and then left.
They gave me one quote over the phone. When they got to my house (despite already having the number of stories and sq. footage) the home was repriced at a higher price. They did check with me before doing the work. I was also told they would bag the debris and leave it in the driveway so I could see how much was removed from the gutters. This did not happen. I have little idea of what was actually done.
Here is what you should know: 1. They will try to up-sell you even before they come out. 2. They do an adequate job. We will see how long it lasts. 3. They will not give you a schedule. They will come when they want to come without notifying you. They also will not tell you they are there - so if you have dogs/ cars in the garage, etc - you are out of luck. They told me they would be there within 5 business days. And that they come rain or shine. They took nearly 2 weeks. And when I called, they said, "oh, it was raining." 4... read more

Gave a reasonable price. They said they would do the job within 24-48 hrs and made me pay upfront, then raised price and said they didnt have manpower to do job. I called several times and they gave me the run around. I wasted an hour on the phone. They hung up on me. Manager in Texas thought it was local.
Ned Stevens showed up 1 week early without announcing. This presents a problem because I have dogs in a fenced yard. The gutter in front was damaged placing it on the house and the dent is CLEARLY visible from the ground. The joint looks worse than what was replaced. That's the good. The bad is that the laborers that came out REFUSED to place the gutters in the same location as it might leak into the basement. I explained it has been that way since I moving here in 2002. Since 2 downspouts emptied into the area, they we... read more
