Wow look at all these people and not one left a review higher than 1 star. I cant say that I'm surprised. Numotion knows good and well that people in wheelchairs are helpless w/o their chairs and they exploit this fact. Firstly you cant reach anyone directly and you have to go thru several annoying channels just to reach someone who lies to you. Their lack of concern is painfully evident. They've no respect for the disabled and consistently place them in difficult predicaments all while spouting lies about appointments etc. ... read more
Numotion lied about their repair services. My husband is a double amputee and his life depends on his wheelchair for everyday life and not to mention getting to dialysis, We we purchased the chair we were told that if any thing went wrong they would be out immediately to fix, his wheelchair stopped working, we called and spoke to several people trying to get it fixed. If i could leave a half a star i would. Extremely poor service! I have no mobility outside my Jazzy chair. The battery will not charge and ive been waiting for at least 5 weeks to get a repair person to come fix it. I called again today & begged them to send someone out before my appt. which is still 3 weeks away. They informed me that they just cant service it anytime before. I spoke with **** an employee of Nu motion because my sons therapist ordered a wheelchair for him but after reading the reviews I questioned **** about the servicing of their products including not being accredited by BBB and the negative reviews. He talked a lot but didnt really explain what was being done moving forward about their lack of accountability regarding repairs . If I could leave a half a star, I would was prescribed a wheelchair by the doctor for my husband. Was told I would be involved every step the way because I am his caregiver. Was given a date they were coming then get a phone call that they are not coming that they would notify me when they were able to come never happened. They came without notifying me to check my husband out to determine his needs as a lot of uncalled for questions very rude very nasty. I recently received a stroller and bed from Numotion through Medical for my son. While the stroller was fine (after a delay due to a missing headrest), the bed has been a disaster.Issues with the Bed 1. Safety concerns: My son's foot gets stuck between the mattress and frame, and he's hitting his forehead on the wooden frame.2. I'm an above knee amputee on both legs. They gave me a J4 Quantum powerchair which is a rediculously stupid design. Even with legs, you can't open or close doors or get to countertops because the casters stick so far out front. Nor does it work well outside either. And handles horrible! I could go on about more of the horrible designs but there's too much to list. The Jazzy elite powerchairs have a far superior design compared to these pieces of junk. I already left one review but I dont feel it justifies how horrendous this company is. I am in a wheelchair that is 15 months old that died because of a circuit breaker and Ive been trapped at home for over a week no loaner chair no news about the part absolutely nothing. Do not use this company when I can get away from this company I will. The only reason they get one star is because you cannot give it zero on this website.
Horrible customer service. Told parts are on back order and that sometimes it takes up to 3 years due to COVID, and that theres nothing they can due. My mom paid over $8,000 for a custom chair less than a year ago and we just had to pay over $700 parts this month alone, including one $350 part that we were originally told would be under warranty.
