I had the most delightful experience this morning when I brought my car in to get its oil changed at Oilstop Drive-thru and Roseville (Fairway Dr). It is completely the opposite experience that I previously had at Midas on Foothills in Roseville. The minute I pulled up behind a car getting serviced, I was pleasantly greeted by Germel and was offered a drink (coffee or soda). Later, Alex greeted me and asked me questions regarding the car. I'm waiting for my turn, it's very busy today, but I always feel they do an outstanding job having to maneuver cars into the available lanes, making sure nobody loses their position. Always hopping, maintaining professionalism.

Great experience! Very fast and thorough. Friendly customer service and free cup of coffee. I was done with everything less than 30 minutes. Some other posters mentioned them "upselling items"...this happened to me too, but they don't pressure you. I accepted recommendation for new transmission fluid because they showed my current fluid and it was bad [extra $130, but necessary]. Air filters replaced for extra. But that's okay. The guy that helped me was very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, friendly staff does not mean good service. Everything sort of felt sketch. All I needed was an oil change and coolant flush, and that was going to cost me basically $300. I waited in line for an hour and then service took another hour. I ended up getting just an oil change because they told me I need to take the car to a mechanic for a coolant flush since the engines are delicate (Volvo). I've been bringing both my vehicles here for several years and generally the service has been good, albeit they do a soft sell to purchase more fluids or services if just getting a synthetic oil change was the original plan. Today was different. Busy with three vehicles in front of me and the other bays had more vehicles waiting. The vehicle in front of me decided the wait was too long so several vehicles including myself had to back up in order for that vehicle to leave.
