Wish I could get less than a star. Pushy service and on top of it they over tightened the drain plug on my car where we had to have it chiseled out and pay for a new plug. I live 200 miles away and was just told to bring it in so they can show me the tools to guarantee it doesn't get too tight (I own the same tools, they can break and need recalibrated)
I am a very lucky girl. Trying to be confident that I don't have to check my oil level constantly inbetween oil changes nearly cost me my engine. This Oilstop did NOT properly screw the oil filter onto my car. I was apparently losing oil for awhile, and when my oil light came on while turning the corner into my driveway...I said: "this isn't right" and had it checked out before driving any further. OVERVIEW: There's a car wash across the street, go there immediately, do not even consider this one. REVIEW: I decided to try this carwash today because, well I hadn't tried it yet and that's usually reason enough for me! Glad I did, because now I know never to go here again for anything - not even directions. Here's why! Service does exist! Had the most pleasant experience at Oilstop. The service was incredible, the mechanics were SUPER friendly, PLUS you get a free beverage, car wash, and they top off all your liquids. Oh AND they will do a check engine diagnostic for free! Sure they tell you what they recommend (ie additional services) but you can simply say no and move on if you don't feel up to them. So glad I found a GREAT, affordable and local oil change station. WAHOO!
These folks rock. Needing an oil change, wanting a wash, and having a check engine light come on the same day, they were able to diagnose the problem as a faulty sensor. The same check engine light/sensor would not allow the vehicle to start and they were able to bypass this, start the vehicle and then drove with me over to the repair shop. Next they drove me to my other vehicle! Quick, courteous, professional, very friendly and accommodating. I love coming here because I feel like they do their very best to take care of us as customers. The place is very clean with a beverage service. The communication between the attendants is thorough and detailed. They remember me each time because the the staff is long term. Some of these service have been here for 10 years and take pride in their work. And the free car wash is a bonus.
I came in for an oil change and I had a leak so instead of going ahead and doing an oil change they recommended service and checked all my components at no charge and even topped off my oil. Ben had been a great resource and he is very competent. I will return for all my services in the future.
My Father in law stopped in before he headed out of town and was completely impressed! They even found a filter that was installed incorrectly which was causing outside air to get in the car without being filtered properly! He says he is going to have his oil changed here when they come to visit every time!
Best oil change spot in Camarillo! I always come here and get great service, plus a cool drink while they work - love it!
