This was one of the worst car washes I have had in ages. I got the most expensive wash, unfortunately. The staff did not care at all. They barely wiped off one large area of dirt after I complained. I realized it was a complete waste of time getting to deal with all the problems (small area of dirt all over the car, dirty floor mats, windows not thoroughly cleaned, etc. I will not return. Normally I would not write a review but this was so bad it was ridiculous.
I love this place!! They were a little more expensive then the average oil change but it is definitely worth it. They tell you up front that they don't work off commission but they'll advise you of additional service your car could use. They provide you with a beverage while you're waiting and explain everything that they're doing as they go. Then you get a free car wash, and they do a good job!!! Petaluma's newest place to wash your car. Pros: Easy to find and access. It is on Lakeville (at Caulfield) and adjacent to In-N-Out burgers (everyone should know that place, good burgers). FREE vacumns, and lots of them. You can clean your car to your heart's content. Good machinery to get your car clean. It is all automatic. My uncle has been going to Oilstop for 20 years and recommended them. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The pricing is reasonable. The one draw-back is there isn't a waiting room to drink water and read while they change your oil; you wait in your car instead. However, I would still see them again.
DO NOT GO HERE. I got the synthetic oil change and was told they did free top offs. Went in today for a top off and they wanted to charge me. Even though I had already paid the $70 for the oil change... On top of that they tried to tell me you wont damage the engine by going back and fourth between conventional and synthetic, I know that not to be true. If you care at all about your freedom / ride, DO NOT GO HERE.
I have a Toyota Prius and I recently went in to get my first other than dealer oil change. Oil Stop charges about $30 more than the Toyota dealer. They charge $25 to remove a plate to change the oil? Bad deal for Prius owners. Also, since the price went up on their car washes I will no longer use Oil Stop for anything. Worst deal in Santa Fe.
Be careful here for service other then wash. They have to sell you things you do not need for additives for the car. Said I had an oil leak and need stop leak. 4,000 miles and other guy said it was full before the change. Put in 5.5 qts of oil which the car will not accept and charged an extra almost $2. for the .5. Other oil/filter changes have been 4.5 qts usually and manual says 5? I went there for a car wash and my antenna broke off. The manager ( I forgot to get his name) spent over a half hour and fixed it with a replacement. I know that is not their fault it broke but the level of concern and care he put in to ensure I was pleased was exceptional. I will continue to have my oil changed and car cleaned by them with confidence. Just Superb
A good oil change. Everyone's nice and there's complimentary beverages. There's also a complimentary oil change. This is the only place we get our oil changed. I would've given it 5 stars except they say that they ask the questions 'not to pressure you', and they do ask too many. Anyways, this is a good oil change. I don't normally review places like Oilstop but we go here all the time for our cars and it's exceptional service. It's fast, they're friendly. This is the place to get your oil changed.
