If I could give negative stars, I would. EXACTLY the same experience as ********** I've been 3 weeks without air conditioning to find my ticket was closed because the "service provider said the work was finished" or something like that. I'd had a good talk with the service provider a few days before. The work wasn't finished; a reputable service company wouldn't demean themselves by doing the half-way job that ORHP would only cover.

Im extremely disappointed with my recent experience with ORHP. On August 3, 2024, our HVAC condenser failed during a severe heatwave. We immediately filed a claim with ORHP, hoping for prompt assistance. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.There are so many issues where do I even begin.I had an issue with my garage and they sent out a company to fix it (I was charged an $85 service fee). The company that fixed it did not actually fix it. My garage broke again. I wish I could give this company zero stars.We closed on our house 4 days ago and had gotten this warranty as an extra protection just in case something went wrong. The day we started moving in, we realized our ac had gone out. It worked when we did our walkthrough 2 days prior, but was out when we got here the morning after closing. Both AC units went out and a service desk ticked was placed on 06/28/2024. Today is 07/26/24. No repairs done. No help from what piddly amount the home warranty will cover. The "contractor" is not answering calls or texts. Called multiple times to the contractor with no help from our warranty provider. Only excuses from Old Republic. Extremely poor communication. They appear to contract with sub-par vendors based on cost which translates to shoddy repair work for us as home owners. Wanted to speak with ORHP and explain the low quality of repair vendor they employ. They plaster all over their website "contact us" - good luck.. on hold 20 plus minutes and counting. UNLESS its renewal time! Then you will receive multiple communications from Old Republic Home Protection. Of course!

Old Health Republic sold a policy in an area they do not serve! So, after cancelling by their providers, I had an outside contractor come and evaluate my appliances. The technicians provided a report, but they ORHP is ansking for more information. If they use outside vendors, they should provide a checklist strait ***** to go through with an outside vendor. Old republic does not screen the service providers they force you to use. I had a them send a plumber that overcharged them so they only approved a fraction of the cost and expected me to pay the rest out of pocket. Will not make any changes and told me to take it or leave it.

I filed a claim and the company has been giving me the run around not communicating about resolving my situation on my HVAC system. They have these contractors come out does not follow correct procedures on diagnosing and completing the claim in a timely matter. This will be my second time dealing with the same situation. From May of 2024 to July of 2024 I am dealing with the same thing.
