Requested service for broken water line in refrigerator. It took 2 weeks to get contractor out and he had to order some more line. After almost 3 weeks, called him to discover he had gotten in the line, but hadn't had time to repair our refrigerator. A few days later, he installed the new line under the bottom of the freezer door only to find the line was broken inside the door near the dispenser and the entire door must be replaced. Person they sent out to "inspect" jumped to conclusions about why the glass inside the oven door cracked, assuming something (the microwave tray that had a chip in it when we purchased the house and haven't replaced it) was dropped on it, and wrote up his "report" that way. In actuality, it cracked when we used the self-clean feature on the oven. I cancelled my plan today via email. I am very disappointed in the level of service from this company. Multiple times when placing a service order, the contractor they provided set up an appointment but never showed up or called. Old Republic's service has declined. I was a customer for 10 years, but no longer. Trying to get ahold of a live person at Old Republic is a joke. I would not recommend this company.Should be not stars for this company. Terrible service.

Recently had a seasonal tune up on our A/C unit. The company Old Republic used this time sent out a tech that was terrible. He was pulling wires off the unit using wire strippers, then said that part was going to be failing soon that I would need to file a separate claim in order to fix it. He also stripped out the bolts that hold the cover on because he was using an extention on his battery driver and was trying to put the bolts in at an angle. As a former employee of this company I would like to share the discrimination and unfair treatment I was given. I broke both sides of my ankle and had to have surgery. While my doctor put me on short term disability the human resources manager email me didn't even have the courtesy to call me and denied my short term disability and fired me.
Toward the end of 2023, Old Republic gave me the option to renew my warranty service for an annual $400 fee, which I did. They emailed me saying it was important to protect against the 'unexpected' and not to 'leave anything to chance'. I decided to renew my policy for 2024. The first day it started getting warmer, my AC unit stopped blowing cool air again. I submitted another claim through Old Republic and they again sent an HVAC company to look at it. My ac went out and old republic went a man out. The ac was covered under ******* factory warranty that only covered the parts. So I had to pay $1200 to the guy they sent out. It lasted 3 weeks. They sent out another guy who confirmed that what the first guy did completely destroyed the outside unit. Old republic said would pay for it. 2 weeks later I had to call to find out they won't be paying for it. Not only am I still out ac because of the man they sent out but now it will be $3500 to replace it.

ORHP was pretty good and responsive but the contractor (Mastertex Appliance Repair) they used is worthless. Never could fix my oven issues yet ORHP still charged me $85 twice because they had to call out the same contractor twice. I ended up calling another contractor on my own to get the issue fixed and ended up paying full price. ORHP added zero value.
