When I purchased my condo in Fall ****, I was adamant that the seller include a reputable, comprehensive home warranty. He ultimately agreed to include a platinum level policy from Old Republic. I am sorry to report that this coverage has so far proven to be completely useless. Moreover, communication with both Old Republic and their service provider is almost totally nonexistent, and there has been no way to track service calls on their website due to ongoing technical issues. Paying for a home warranty that can't even be used. Contacted them on 2 different occasions for a dishwasher repair and a water well pump not working. Both times they had nobody to dispatch. I found my own company to come out but according to Old Republic they want the technician, company etc to call them to discuss the issue. Companies will not call them due to arguing about price reduction and the long phone wait in which myself has experienced with over 20 minute hold times. Our well is not producing barely any water. I have had Old Republic for 4 -5 years since I bought my house. I have used the on a number of occasions without incident. The problem is when you have a conflict with contractor they dispatched there is no protocol in place to facilitate a resolution. I was put on hold and never given any assistance in resolvIng the matter. I felt like the Old Republic was on the contractors side even though it wax clearly documented a job was started and not complete. I am going in 2 and 1/2 months with no heat.

Really disappointed in their service! I have been a customer for years and have paid them a lot of money! I waited three weeks for my washing machine to be replaced. Then ORHP hires a delivery service that refuses to haul away my old machine, refuses to set my new machine on the machine pedestal, and refuses to "install" my new machine. I had to figure out how and who to hire to get all this done. The delivery service they hired did not arrive in the time frame I was told. Why did I purchased/continue to pay for an Old Republic Home Warrant (ORHP)? April 2023 rental home furnace goes out. 35 days later, plus an additional $200, it was fixed. Seven months later, the furnace goes out again. It takes two weeks for ORHP to dispatches technician. 30 days later, multiple visits, dozens of calls to ORHP, additional $100, service fee, and it is fixed. Two hours later it goes out. Old Republic goes out of their way to deny claims. The contractor who did the work laughed and said their excuse for denial was "crazy." However, Old Republic said we had no grounds for appeal since our contractor performed the work before we found out that the claim had been denied. We will never buy a home warranty ever again.

Would not waste my money again. We had a dishwasher issue which began in July 2023. Three service vendors later (first said we needed part and was going to order, but upon follow up learned he wasnt going to travel from ******** to ******** again. Very long hold times lately and their vendors are not the greatest. I am disappointed. Been a client for over 15 years and thinking of switching. **************** has went down big time with Old Republic. Hold times are extremely long and frustrating. Seems like Old Republic needs to hire more employees and get better vendors.
