Honestly save your money and put X amount away monthly so if you do have A problem you can pay for it with the money saved. I have gone through h*** and back with Old Republic home protection for A mere $45 cost to remove my old appliance which was supposedly to be taken away by them. Do not believe them when they say they will reimburse you that's A load of ****.the only thing they protect is their bank account with the money from us saps who purchase their warranty's. Recently ORHP charged me $110.00 for NOTHING except delays, lies and frustration. The company you sent to fix my hot water shower leak decided they also wanted to change the cold water valve. Changing the cold water valve, which WASNT leaking, would require turning off the water to the entire apartment building. I recently experienced significant frustration and inconvenience with Old Republic Home Protection, leading me to write this review. This company is a scam. I have 2 appliances that broke down around the same time. This company sent out a tech to fix my dishwasher and after he left the unit was in worse shape so they sent out another tech and he said that the unit needs to many parts and the whole unit would need to be changed because it would be cheaper. They denied this claim because the unit was improperly installed but that is not what I was told. THEY REFUSED TO HAVE A CUSTOM BUILT MICROWAVE REPLACED BECAUSE THEY HAD TO REPLACE AN AIR CONDITIONER THIS YEAR AFTER 5 SERVICE CALLS AND THE PROVIDERS SAID IT CAN NOT BE FIXED AND HAD TO BE REPLACED

Loved Old Republic and how they handled our issues. Until you actually need their service then they refuse to renew your contract after an AC claim. You offer a service and then punish a multi year customer for using it.

Terrible company, still have yet to receive anything in writing. We have been without an oven since 10/31. They expect us to go buy an oven and then send them the bill. Yet we dont even have that in writing. They tell us our oven is too expensive to give us options up to **** because that would be a downgrade, yet our policy apparently can only provide up to **** and we need to purchase an oven **** and under. This company is a joke! They dupe people into buying this so much need home warranty but they dont cover anything! My roof was leaking.. I called and they said they do not cover that. We needed insulation in our gas heater furnace so carbon monoxide doesnt kill us.. Guess what? They dont cover that either. We needed the shutoff valve to the toilet to be fixed because is to close to the toilet and we can not open it or closed it, and this company said is not covered because it has to be rerouted!
