I am giving Old Republic a two star review. The office staff and phone interaction was great but the the contractor they used for my HVAC check never called to set up appointment. The lock re-key contactor was unable to rekey the main lock because of the age and style (house built 1995).We ended up using a local HVAC company with many years in business and great customer interaction at our expense. The lock re-key will also be at our expense with a local company with more experience.

Unfortunately we had 2 issues/work orders recently that didn't go well. One placed on 4/21/23 for our washer. ORHP charged our credit card for this on 5/2/23, but as of today 5/4/23 no one has actually ************** it. Emailed ORHP and so far no response. Far worse is the work order placed on 4/19/23 for electrical flickering throughout the house. They sent an electrician on 4/21/23 who said to call ***. *** came and said it was our side of the panel. We have had the worst experience in getting three eyes of our induction range fixed! We ordered a new part last December (2022) and Old Republic sent out three different contractors to repair it BUT we're still waiting for that part to come in and be installed as of TODAY! The worst part is that every time we call to check on the progress, we find that someone dropped the ball and didn't follow through! Totally UNPROFESSIONAL and UNACCEPTABLE!

This company is definitely not one I would recommend or renew with. I purchased my home back in August and at the beginning February I called in to have my AC, dishwasher and fridge looked at. They had two companies come out and state they would do necessary repairs. The fridge and dishwasher issues were to be done by the same company. Old republic Home doesn't care that a senior citizen with a young grandson with Chronic Kidney disease that only has 1/2 functioning kidney is without heat for over 4+ months through this winter in ****** AND still without heat Every rep reading the file notes ( have on recording) can't believe the disregard. What a terrible company and terrible customer service. I bought my house in Feb 2022. I bought the home warranty service. A lot has happened. We bought our house Feb 18 they never received my check until March. So I called and wanted to start service was told havent got payment so couldnt start a claim. Horrible, everything i called about was denied saying installed incorrectly or appliances outside major structures. They are useless. Do they think I built the home ??? Just another senior citizen screwed out of everything I owned.

The issue has been going on for 3 weeks now and still have no resolution. every time you call them, its stating the same story over and over again with no response, no answer, and new excuses to not pay for repairs that they are not able to provide in a timely manner
