Can I give less than one star? So we bought a 20 year old home with all original appliances. Our drawer microwave stopped closing and we called ORHP. They sent an appliance repair person out to look at it who did not service the brand of microwave we had (he told me that he does not service the brand of microwave we have) But ORHP knew the brand when they sent this guy out. Even though he could not help us we still had to pay the $75 fee. Then they sent the second repair person out. This new guy said they ordered the replace... read more

Ive used all republic for my AC problems 7X since I purchased this home in August 2022. Ive been without an air conditioner since April 25 and today is May 15. They are struggling to find the right parts to fix my air conditioner instead of just replacing it well knowing that this air conditioner has been recalled because of numerous issues. They will not fix it until, the service provider says its unfixable. The problem is the service provider makes money by replacing this unit over and over and over. Every claim I bring to Old Republic is denied. The process to file a claim is difficult and because they won't pay for anything I would definitely stay away from this company.

After having back and forth conversation for almost 4 months on one of my problem, they closed my case without resolving. I am very frustrated. I tried to call the special handle department ( where my case was referred to) , I havent received any response. Left voicemail many times but no response.

We had been contract holders with American Home Shield for over 20 years. Did we have issues with them--yes, we did. Got tired of the difficulty of getting reputable contractors. After much research we decided to go with Old Republic. We've been very happy with them. In 12 months, we've had two service requests that were handled promptly and to our satisfaction. Weve been waiting for an A/C claim to be resolved since March 9 and have been given the run-around since the beginning of the claim. The last time we had an A/C claim, it took over 6 months to resolve. Ive called every week, 2-3 times a week and have asked for a supv to return my call 4 times and have yet to receive a call. This is the beginning of warm months and very uncomfortable but no one cares to give us a a TRUE answer as to why our request has not been resolved. Very upsetting, may be time to get a lawyer.

I am giving Old Republic a two star review. The office staff and phone interaction was great but the the contractor they used for my HVAC check never called to set up appointment. The lock re-key contactor was unable to rekey the main lock because of the age and style (house built 1995).We ended up using a local HVAC company with many years in business and great customer interaction at our expense. The lock re-key will also be at our expense with a local company with more experience.

Unfortunately we had 2 issues/work orders recently that didn't go well. One placed on 4/21/23 for our washer. ORHP charged our credit card for this on 5/2/23, but as of today 5/4/23 no one has actually ************** it. Emailed ORHP and so far no response. Far worse is the work order placed on 4/19/23 for electrical flickering throughout the house. They sent an electrician on 4/21/23 who said to call ***. *** came and said it was our side of the panel.
