Do not use!!!! Not BBB accredited. We have been fighting to have our HVAC replaced since 2019. Variety of excuses. We have tried calling multiple times to try and fight claim and after talking to first ******** service **** they hang up!! Should give a zero rating. We have never been late on our payments and have only used service calls, hvac is now 14 years old and should be replaced. We have had multiple technicians out and they all say the same thing. DO NOT USE!!!!

I requested service to my refrigerator and cooktop over a month ago. I have not heard back from Old Republic Home Warranty in regards to either appliance. The service provider came to my house and assessed three of my kitchen appliances- refrigerator, microwave, and cooktop. I was told I would be hearing back from **** to schedule a date for repairs. Would give zero stars if able. It is so difficult to communicate with company or reach anyone for customer service that I can honestly say that I have never experienced anything so oppressive or inconsiderate in my 84 years on this Planet. My oven has been down for 2months. Put in service call took awhile to get an appliance technician out they showed looked at it for 5 mins and said its an electrical problem. Contact multiple times to have an electrician come out finally have one arrive and he says its the oven having the problem. Now Im back trying to get an appliance technicians out again and still no response from them even though I talk with someone and they say they will set it and I should a call from a technician. I lost electrical to my house.I explained I have my 71 year old mom living with me and that I have 2 refrigerators and a freezer that have lost power.They sent a contractor the next day.They couldn't authorize any work until hearing from contractor Didn't get a report from contractor until 4 days after that Then wanted me to come out of pocket ~$80 to initiate work During this time, I was able to diagnose the issue, and had the means to complete repair.when I asked if I could do it and be reimbursed, they said "no"all the wh... read more

I had Ultimate Plan where I paid $1,235 premium. It covers a/c, heating, faucet leaks. In October 2025, this plan was due for renewal and I called ORHP **************** and made payment using my card with three equal payments.During the renewal phone call, I was not informed of changes to my plan. The heater technician was here for 14 minutes, check the issue. He changed the control pad battery, told us to push hold at the desired temperature. Then, quick check on the filter. Didnt even check the main heater!

Not a good experience and will not be renewing. Old Republic and other insurers like them have many, many coverage exclusions buried in the fine print that allow them to legally deny coverage. Additionally, the techs assigned to handle your claim vary greatly in expertise and professionalism. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. No need for a response.

I wish I had looked at BBB before I purchased a plan from this company!!! Do not waste your money or your time with them!!! RUN!!!!! According to their own BBB stats, they get a formal complaint every 36 hours and that's only counting the people who actually took out time to file. Imagine the disarray from the ones who didn't!
